Chasing Rome: A Novel

Great read
We find Chase and Gavin off on another adventure, this time in Rome. While exploring they encounter a local artist that gives them four riddles to solve to find the most romantic places in Italy. While they are solving these riddles they encounter intrigue and old-world charm on the ancient streets of Rome, and discover that almost nothing is as it seems.

Wonderful Story
John Gray has brought Chase and Gavin to life once again for a new adventure, this time in Rome.Rather than stay in a hotel as they explore the country and plan their wedding, they stay with a family and learn authentic culture. Chase’s first surprise is that, in Italy, you don’t order cappuccino after noon. There are many more lessons to come. While this is a stand-alone story, you might want to read the first two novels in this trilogy, Manchester Christmas and Chasing Manhattan. You will find many things in this final story that will be more enjoyable once you understand Chase and Gavin (and Scooter’s) history.John Gray is blessed with the ability to tell a story so that you are excited to turn the page to see what happens next. I will really miss the Chase and Gavin stories but am very happy with the ending.

Pure Enjoyment
I have read all three and have loved everyone of them. I love the home town references. Made me smile when I read them. Love the twists and turns and how each happening comes together. I hope John continues to write about Chase and Gavin, even if they are short stories. Thank you John & Courtney.

I LOVED this book!
I have read all three of the books in this series and the first was my favorite so far. This one though made me feel like I was in Rome and the love and beautiful people Chase meets along the way. In our divisive world today it re affirmed for me that we are all people with the same wants and needs and if we just open our hearts to someone who is different we can make the world a better place.

Pure reading pleasure
I'll add my recommendation to all the rest. First of all, the book felt good in my hands, as did the pages as I turned them ... and not every book does! Second, following the storyline started in the two previous book was like sliding into warm pajamas and fuzzy slippers. And third, it's a wonderful story with lots of twists and turns, heartfelt moments, believable characters with everyday challenges, and of course, a John Gray happy ending. Kudos, and please don't stop writing!
