Before this soft shell jacket, I had one from Blackhawk. It fit pretty big, and it had ridiculously large inside pockets where the contents would swim around in there. I am 6’1”, 175 lbs, athletic build, wide shoulders, narrow waist. I usually wear a 40” regular, 32” waist suit. I ordered a medium since I am over 50 now and it’s harder to keep the muscle mass on. But this jacket fits so well I almost wish it was cold enough now (it’s the beginning of Sept) to get a chance to wear it.One minor thing I would add: a forearm zippered pocket. There are 2 upper arm zippered pockets so that’s good. I love the inner right side zippered pocket for a smart phone. The other inside pockets are just the right size.The material really is very nice. High quality workmanship shows in the fitment and finish of the stitching. No loose threads anywhere. Main two-way zipper is nice and smooth, and looks like it will last for many seasons. Totally happy with the product and the shipping.

Great jacket, I love it. Plenty of pockets to the point where if you load all of them the jacket won't fit right. I love the way it fits but if you are contemplating this jacket I would say evaluate what you plan to wear it for. I love it if in going somewhere where I will be up and moving all day. If you're sitting it's a little tight in the waist area. Im 6'2" and about 230ibs. A little gut but nothing bothersome. This jacket fits pretty snugly. My waist is between a 36 and 38. As I lose weight this will probably fit a little looser, I bought the large as recommended in the sizing chart. It's a little snug. It's a godsend they have a bottom zipper or I would remove this jacket whenever I sit. It is very form fitting. It would be a 5 star if it was about a half inch more room and didn't rise when you raise your arms.

I am about as pleased with this purchase as I could be! It's well-made and designed, handsome and versatile. If you plan to wear anything substantial under it, I would strongly recommend buying the next size larger than what you regularly buy. I did and am glad I did. Designed in the USA.

This is my first Condor jacket, and I kind of love it. I wear it in temperatures down to 50°-45°, and down to freezing with a fleece jacket underneath. It's not rain proof but I've worn it in light to heavy rain and find it works just fine. I'm 5'11" and 175 lbs, not especially athletic and wear a Medium shirt usually. Medium was the right choice for me. If I wear a thick old school fleece under it, it's a little snug, but I'm glad I didn't go with a large.Any complaints I have are minor. This was my first sturdy soft shell jacket and the fabric seemed a little stiff, but now I am perfectly happy with it. Yes, the zipper seemed a little difficult to use, but I guess I've learned how to use it without any difficulty. And maybe I don't need all the pockets, but that's not really a problem. I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy again.

This is my fourth jacket from condor...had to have gray. As with both condor jackets (phantom and summit) they met my expectations each and every time. Durability is not an issue, fairly good water repellency (this is not a true rain jacket) fit and fitment are right on for me (5'10" 183 athletic build and wear a medium). No issues with workmanship on any of these jackets. I've taken this particular one to Vienna, Bratislava and Budapest. It handled high thirty degree windy weather like a champ...anything colder and you'd want to look for a heavier jacket. I'd say these are all worth the money....DO IT !!!

All the reviews I read said to get the next size up these run tight. I am 5’8 and went ahead and ordered the medium. It turns out to be almost too big. Looser fitting than I prefer. I washed it thinking that would help, but it didn’t shrink at all. Overall quality is good. I just wish the sizing Information was more consistent and precise. A little disappointed, but the quality is good.

Fit is perfect. It's surprisingly warm for as light as it is. I have a similar jacket with a hood and this jacket has no hood....which I think is a plus. The hooded jacket tends to fit too loosely if not zipped.
