Not as advertized
These Speed Bleeders from Russell are a time saver and work well. However, trying to determine which one's to buy for a specific vehicle is so challenging that you may give up on the purchase. For my search, calling Russell was of zero assistance as they NEVER answer the phone. I finally defaulted to calling Edelbrock (who owns Russell) and after several attempts to various product help desks, got a hold of a live body. He told me which bleeders to buy, but I was ready for his (incorrect) answer as I'd already referred to a GM parts catalog prior to the call. GM parts showed the fittings for both front and rear of my vehicle to have the same thread pitch, but the Edelbrock help desk was telling me something different. When I brought this to is attention, he had no explanation. I finally ordered 4 different sets from Amazon, and through trial and error, found the one's that fit and returned the rest. What a lousy way to do business. Additionaly, the Russell Speed Bleeders shown on Amazon all have a special thread sealer applied which implies that it's needed for proper installation and operation. But, when they arrived in the mail, it had magically disappeared. So, three stars off for false advertising. You can buy the 'special' thread sealer from Russell for $10 (which gets you a tiny bottle) or you can choose to apply your own sealer e.g., Teflon tape or something else. Then when they leak, it will (of course, be your fault.

The Amazonian Accuracy is Awkward; The product is a straight-up WIN.
4 stars = I like it.I like the concept of this product, I like the practical application of this product, and I like the originality of this product. It works. However, I do not like the incorrectly sized part I received. I was supposed to order a different particular item (the 639570)(with 20/20 hindsight and some more research) because according to the original SpeedBleeder website.....THAT (the 639570) is the correct product for a 1998 Subaru Impreza L Coupe. Amazon says this is not correct, but I will have to obtain this size bleeder to verify that accuracy.(sidenote: 7mm x 1 (on Amazon) and M7 x 1.0 (inventor website, look at the SB7100) sound awfully similar to me.)I ordered the Edelbrock/Russell 639560 because Amazon (incorrectly) informed me that that product was the one that "fit" my vehicle. Horsemuck. I would love to send in my old ones for a pair of the CORRECT sized ones free of charge, though I have my doubts. (I have a photo of my OEM bleeders next to the ones that "fit" from Amazon.)This posting is listed on the Edelbrock/Russell 639570 and 639560 page because I want consumers to do their THOROUGH RESEARCH in buying something from the know-it-all website as opposed to the inventors website. No bad blood to Amazon; I like buying things from here. But I am disgruntled by the fact that I have to do the job more than ONCE when it should have all been done right the first time. Granted - I did not fully verify my information before buying...So my issue is that the product "fit" was inaccurate and it would help out a lot more than leaving comments to inform/warn others if the correct information was listed. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.Amazon - your move.

Fitment details are wrong.
Amazon said this was not the size my Nissan frontier took but this is the exact part that fits my 2007 frontier. Took about 20 minutes to install and bleed all four brake calipers. These should be factory installed on everything.

Works great. Ingenious.
Makes bleeding brakes a one man job. I'll buy these again. The only difference is that the original bleeder screw was a 10mm. This one was 11mm. The threads were the same as the original, though. Maybe the ball/check valve inside requires it to be made with a little larger diameter head.

Works great, easy install...be wary of over-torque
I just recently installed these on the front calipers of a Honda Accord 1998 EX Coupe. They are very easy to install and come in pairs. The star I am taking off is because they're no instructions given to the amount of torque needed to tighten the speed bleeder. I was screwing one in, and i thought these bleeders had to sit flush like the OEM ones. Of course i tighten it too much, and now i have a speed bleeder in my right rear caliper with just the bottom portion stuck in the caliper...So it looks like the red/black thread is an indication of how much you should be screwing it in. For the honda, you should be able to get all the coloured thread in, and a few more turns after that gets it tight. Right when you feel as its getting too hard to torque..STOP!Also, for those getting these for your cars, do check this site:[...]They list your car and exactly which bleeders to get. Amazon says these fit on all 4 calipers, but the rears are different as listed on the site. Always go with the manufactures recommendation!Aside from my own bad judgement, and a broken caliper later, these do work great! Make sure when you bleed that you get all the air out of your system in case you are doing a brake fluid flush as well. Hope this helps!

Watch out for different threads on front and rear calipers!
I believed both the Amazon as well as the Russell databases that one size would fit my truck (2001 Silverado, Extended Cab, 2wd). So i start to replace the bleeders on the rear calipers, pull one off, and immediately notice the existing one has 1.0 threads, not 1.5 like BOTH databases said for my truck, front AND rear! So I put the old bleeder back in the caliper, and go ahead and order 2 pairs of 1.0 threaded speeders. Then I come to find the front calipers have 1.5 threaded bleeder holes! So now ive got double for both front and rear calipers!
