this charging cable is awesome, will let you charge a laptop or an iphone while you are travelling, if you pair it with a powerful GaN charger (also from anker). Recommended.

I've daily drove the 3ft cable for almost a year. I bought this last year in December of 2022. I mainly have it carefully wrapped up in my pocket along side the newish Anker wall outlet/powerbank hybrid which is very portable! I actually came back to this page because I'm thinking of buying the 6ft version. My other 6ft cord (a different brand) for home died on me and bent after only one fall but this Anker cord has withstood alot of pressure from my pocket for months without failing yet. The build quality is heavy duty. They don't compare these cords with the older powerline series they had but they improved these cables even more. If you look at the pictures they provide, this cable is rated for 35,000 bends while the powerline III series only went up to 25,000. I highly recommend it!

If you are like me and on the go a lot, this thing is a must. I did this cable (+ a backup/extra), the anker 717, the anker powercore 737 battery and only charge on the go. The battery fills so stinking fast I never have to worry about a dead battery when I have my bag with me. 140w in/out will fuel my buds, laptop (i7+external monitor), mouse, switch, and phone without breaking a sweat all day long. I only need about a 10-15 mins date with an outlet at an airport and I am rocking because it charges so fast. My only gripe is I wish they had different colors so I could differentiate between the two being plugged in due to the charge capacity of some USBC ports. I put a small sticker on them to keep them sorted out, but it would be nice to have a factory option.

I've been slowly but surely eliminating clutter and extra cabling from my on-the-go electronics kit. I purchased an Anker 727 Charging Station and 555 USB C hub to replace a bunch of power bricks and extraneous cables I was carrying for my laptop and other devices. I needed a fairly long cable capable of delivering 100w of power from the 727 to the 555 since the hub was also powering my laptop as an all-in-one solution. My laptop's BIOS has a display of the input power wattage, so I was able to verify that I was getting the full 85w power from the 555 (the hub uses 15w of the 100w input, so only 85w goes to the connected device) when using this cable.Anker's quality and support is fantastic, and they have become my go-to vendor of choice for power and charging. Yes, I could have spent less on a cable, but I know this one will hold up, and I won't be stranded with a failed cable at the worst moment.
