Very sturdy
Just get this and look no further. Skip the microphone, which is the part that is usually breaking for everyone. Let's be realistic, you don't need it. The housing of the 3.5mm and 2.5mm jacks are very sturdy and long, I can see this cable holding up for a long time.

Inexpensive replacement for my Bose headphones
I wanted to replace my bose headphone wire as it started crackling badly.This product was fairly decently priced so I went and bought them to test them out.So far they have been really great. Everything works like the original.

Rubbish
The volume control unit fell apart within 5 minutes of usage. Absolute waste of money. Cheap badly made rubbish. Beware. Trying to use cellotape to hold the cable in place. Will probably revert to using my old cable

Mic & Buttons do not work
Mic and buttons do not work opposite to what is advertised.

Sounds cuts in and out
After 1.5 months, the sounds started cutting in and out due to poor wiring in the cord.

Spotty connection, buttons randomly pressed when cable is bent a certain way.
It's good quality material per se, however the connection is spotty and the buttons randomly get pressed when the cable is at a certain angle
