Fast, Easy to install
This drive is amazing, it is super fast and has one of the cheapest prices in its class! I really enjoy it, simple to install and no problems at all after a couple months! I recommend.

1 of 2 drives failed within 3 months.
Purchased two of these to function as boot drives for a virtualized gaming setup. One is still working. The other failed within 3 months. I reached out to kingfast's support team via e-mail -- and they haven't replied back to me.Oh, and inside of their packaging, they ask you to leave positive feedback and imply they will send you another drive if you do. Don't bother, they won't.Do yourself a favor, spend the extra ten bucks and buy a reputable brand. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Definitely worth consideration.
I had been browsing for an SSD when this popped up as a flash deal, so I took the gamble. I'm extremely glad I did! Responsiveness is fantastic and boot times are incredible (to me). My only other SSD is a SanDisk running on SATA II (motherboard bottleneck), which is sufficient, but this is better. Boot times on the SanDisk is about 30-40 seconds, the Kingfast takes around 12.Pros:CheapFastNice packagingReally nice metal bodyCons:Only 120gb, I guess? I knew what I was buying.Overall, I'm exceptionally happy with my purchase.P.S. if you're concerned about the brand being an unknown, I suggest googling them. They've been around for at least 4 years that I could tell, and have been discussed and reviewed on quite a few reputable sites.

The bad reviews already and my computer guy warned me about Kingfast...
The good news is that I can get it fixed when it goes if it goes, I was strongly told to back up my computer monthly at least...this is a great idea, because if it goes, I will get it changed out...and I will have my backups ready.

Only worked for few months
Like others reported, the drive was not reliable for me either and died after few months of light operation. The SSD was completely dead and unrecognizable to the system. My spare test SSD worked fine on same data and power cable.

Solid entry-level solid state drive
Installed this drive in an older HP EliteBook laptop, so far it has been running well with a clean installation Windows 10. Actual usable capacity (after Windows 10 install) is about 111 GB. No problem with drive detection in external USB SATA adapter and internally on the HP notebook.AS SSD Benchmark:Read/Write: 459.58 MB/s / 325.61 MB/s4K Read/Write: 13.6 MB/s / 46.66 MB/sPros:- Solid value, especially for older notebooks- TRIM support and proper SMART reporting for predictive failure reporting- 3 year warrantyCons:- Relatively low 4K random read performance- Unspecified NAND flash type and unpublished endurance ratings (TBW)- Benchmark results lower than the average SATA3 drive

The SSD works but I would probably recommend a different brand like Kingston (not to be confused ...
The only instructions included show how to plug in the SSD into your computer. I experienced issues getting windows to let me put files on this SSD and there's no instructions explaining how to do this. After spending 2 hours on google I finally figured it out, but this was very frustrating. The SSD works but I would probably recommend a different brand like Kingston (not to be confused with Kingfast, the company making this SSD)
