Lily-Flame Cut Grass Tin, Green, l x 7.7cm w x 6.6cm h

I was really looking forward to this candle but when it arrived I was very disappointed. I read all of the reviews and the majority said it was absolutely brilliant.Firstly I wasn’t expecting it to look like it did when I opened it as you can see in my image and second, I lit it and the smell is very faint.Lovely smell when you open the tin but hardly any smell at all when lit. Very very disappointing as I really wanted to like this candle.

One moment I think it might smell like grass. The next, a bit like synthetic pine scent. Cant put my finger in the scent. It does smell when lit and unlit though.

Unfortunately this isn’t exactly what I thought it would be.The smell is more of a bathroom air freshener smell - than cut grass. Obviously that smell is likely to be hard to achieve, so I guess they tried their best!In terms of speed of package/delivery - great.Presentation- great.Delivery packaging seemed a wasteful - a box ten times the size of the candle with plastic stuffingCandle itself lasts a long time !

I can't quite think what this smells of - definitely not fresh cut grass.

I’ve been buying this for years now but wow. My best friend and I were in the car one day and could smell freshly cut grass and we said we wanted a candle with the scent. I went online and found this and ordered us one each and it smells e x a c t l y like freshly cut grass.
