Great hole drill
It is a strong hole drill, very hard steel bit, maybe even harder, like carbide almost. Very strong and will rip through the wood with no problems, the blades/ teeth are sharp. Probably could cut through other materials as well, I wouldn’t be surprised if this could cut through sheet metal and plastic. But certainly it does cut through wood like butter.

This is a carbide tipped tool that is very well made. I was astounded at the quality for the very low price. Good tool.

waste of time and money
All the carbide tips broke off first hole. I drilled 4 more holes in the same door with different sized Carbide Hole Saws with no issues.I would give it zero stars if I could.I missed my return window so it's going to the landfill

Don't buy this. I use carbide hole saws every day for the same application i used this and this didn't make it through one hole....well, one cutting insert survived but the rest didn't. Whole cutter went in the trash immediately after first use. Spend the extra money on an expensive name brand.
