So far, it is a Miracle!
Let me start off by saying that I am terrific at swaddling. I've worked with many babies over the years, and this is the first time that I've had to resort to using anything other than a regular blanket to swaddle. My first son, I used muslin swaddle blankets with no issues: he stayed wrapped until I unwrapped him. Now, with my second, he is a little Houdini! No matter what I used, his little arms escaped. This was recommended to me by a fellow mom, and it is the real deal! The material is super soft and has just enough stretch that you can make it nice and snug. Best of all...little arms stay put right where they are supposed to!*Update*I had to change my review from 5 stars to 4. Because I liked the first blanket so much, I ordered a second to have a backup. The original review was on the grey blanket with yellow trim (pictured). The second blanket I ordered was the chocolate with mint polka dots. Unfortunately, with the different design, the feel and texture of the fabric is COMPLETELY different. It is rough and has no elasticity/ stretch. The blanket still keeps the arms in, but because it can't be stretched around my son's body as well, when he wiggles, it becomes very loose. I will be returning the chocolate colored blanket and getting a second grey with yellow trim. I would prefer to have two different designs, but I can't risk purchasing another and ending up with the junk fabric. My review of the grey blanket remains 5 stars, but in my opinion, not having consistent elasticity in all the Miracle Blanket fabrics is a major design flaw. If I was individually reviewing the chocolate colored blanket, I would give it two stars.

Great for new (inexperienced) parents, prefer over halo swaddles for newborns
My sisters both swore by halo swaddles so I stocked up on them in different sizes before my baby was born. But when my baby arrived, I found that the halo swaddles rode up over her face while she was sleeping. Newborns are so tiny and delicate that I wasn’t comfortable squeezing the heck out of her to get the halo swaddle tight enough to keep her arms down. I headed to amazon for my daily “save me I don’t know what I’m doing with this tiny human shopping binge” and found this swaddle with great reviews so I figured I would give it a shot. I loved this swaddle for a newborn. For new parents like me and my husband that were afraid to be too rough with the baby and hurt her and therefore weren’t very good at swaddling, it was really helpful to have a way to keep her arms down while we did the rest of the swaddling. I will say though that you pretty much have to undo the entire swaddle to change a diaper but it was still the best swaddle for newborns in my opinion. We went back and bought another one after trying out the first and liking it so much. We got the grey initially and the chevron second and there is a difference in the fabric. We preferred the grey one that had more Jersey like fabric than the stiffer chevron fabric. I was very sad when she outgrew the miracle swaddle and we had to move onto the halo swaddles. I would highly recommend this product for newborn babies.

Houdini found her match - This product works!!!
Lets just say I've tried every swaddle technique/product created. I've used countless swaddle blankets, the sacks with velcro, the sacks without velcro. I've even resorted to using a DIY super swaddle that I found on youtube. All did not even come close to containing this baby. She is a master at her skill and I respect that. I wasn't ready to give up. I stumbled upon a blog and there was a link to this so called Miracle Swaddle Blanket. Of course I was intrigued but also skeptical. The link took me directly to the product listed on Amazon. I look eerily similar to the DIY super swaddle that I had already tried but this one looked like it would be more secure with it being one piece vs the two blankets that I tried using. Upon arrival I tossed it into the washer right away - I was determined and also excited to use this new tool. Let me just say This is an amazing piece of artillery to have in your back pocket. She slept slightly longer than previous night but when she did awake it wasn't because she had punched herself in the face!! She remained swaddled exactly how I left her. I do agree with other posters....It is a little cumbersome to use but one you get the hang of it, itll only take a few strategic moves to get your bundle of joy tucked in. This truly is a Miracle Blanket. Thank you!!!

I swear by these swaddles. My daughter started sleeping 6hrs at night consistently when we started using it at 3weeks old (She’s now 21months and still a great sleeper). My newborn son (now 8 weeks) has used it since birth (pic from when he was 1-2 weeks only). He started sleeping about 4hrs at night with it and will sometimes go 6-7hrs now. I LOVE these swaddles. Perfect for escape artists who can get their arms out of other swaddles. The fabric is very much like a stretchy T-shirt. I don’t worry about him getting too hot in it and on colder nights I just put him in warmer footed pjs before swaddling my only disappointment is the pocket where his feet/legs insert started to rip on one side after just a couple weeks of use. (I had two different ones with my daughter that are still 100% intact though, so it may be a fluke or possibly was caught on something in the washer).

Ideal for wrapping up a little wriggly bean
The material is lightweight and ideal for wrapping up a little wriggly bean. Enough space for the bean to wriggle around, in peace and hasn't woken himself up yet while sleeping in it. Velcro free so no distractions if you want to slightly adjust while they are asleep.

Life saver when our daughter was young
Our baby would only sleep when swaddled. I was naff at swaddling, this made night times a lot easier.

... this but there is not so our baby would easily break free
I assumed there was velcro or something to secure this but there is not so our baby would easily break free. If your baby has a strong startle reflex I doubt this would work.
