Works perfectly to add 8 channels via ADAT
This item was received fast abundantly exactly as described. It works perfectly as a mic-pre to add 8 extra ADAT inputs to my Apollo audio interface. Super clean!

Excellent quality
I do video recordings for bands and really needed to add multi-track audio recording to my live gigs. I use 2 of these to split 16 channels into the FOH mixer and a Zoom L-20 multi-track on stage. The unit is quiet, we could not hear a difference and offers ground lift switches, although I have never needed to use them. Phantom power passes without an issue. The bands have no problem with me using these so I'm really happy to have purchased them.

Got what I paid for
These are functional. I do feel like there's a bit of signal degradation on the transformer outs, but still usable for my application. The one thing I don't like is the buttons on the front for joining the channels, on more than one occasion those have been accidentally pushed in during the process of hooking up the cables. The first couple of times took a bit of head scratching to figure out why things sound a little weird suddenly... although at this point it's the first thing I check.

Very poor Noise rejection. Not for recording studios.
Very poor Noise rejection. Basically like a noise antenna even with balanced cables. I think the internal coupling transformers are unshielded. So, if you have a recording studio with anything else around it, I wouldn't buy this unit. DON'T DO IT!!

Worked as expected and then some!
Worked exactly as it was supposed to. Great sound. I am getting no additional buzz in our system. Additionally, works as it is supposed to with Phantom Power.
