Wow, this story grabbed my attention right from the first page with the introduction of the three main characters and the electric interactions between them!
I am newly introduced to BDSM books and I must say, they are quite exciting if written well. This one is! I had a hard time putting this down to sleep, and then the dreams were as hot as the book! Alas, my age prevents me from trying such fun. I will however continue to occasionally enjoy more of Meghan O’Brien’ s work in the future. The sex is hot and imaginative, the story line is sweet and realistic. Would I recommend this book, Oh yes indeed I do!

Highly erotic
Although I would have enjoyed more development of the storyline outside of the bedroom, perhaps more storyline before ending the book, I did appreciate the emotional element in the bedroom toward the end of the book. No secret the book was hot, I was glad there was emotional depth illustrating tenderness and vulnerability. Overall, it was a nice read.

A Decent Erotic Lesbian Romance Novel
The story just starts out, there isn't build up before the two characters meet it just happens. The flow in the first 120 or so pages is absolutely amazing. The reader learns more about the intelligent, shy, innocent young woman Claire and her massive crush on her best-friend's handsome, butch sister, Alex. Both Alex and Claire's character are revealed between intercourse. The sex scenes between the two and their connection is well written using roleplay, toys, and different ways to please each other in the bedroom. The author also brings up good themes about strap-on sex and how it isn't something you have to do. Along with that, gender-role play is used frequently between Alex and Claires encounters. While I did like the first 120 pages of the book, it felt more like this was an extended short-story and these characters were lost in a romantic play filling it with, well, stupid conflicts. (the ex randomly showing up) The beginning was the best part, stakes high, intense scenes, and character driven. The stakes were high, Alex is Claire's best-friends sister and Alex is basically a celebrity where Claire is, well, an innocent young woman. However, as we progressed more the stakes weren't as clear and emotionally confusing. However, the turning of point was very creative, but lacked character motive. The events the ex-girlfriend did to "annoy them" or "breakup" their relationship was emotionally confusing, and this character had no build up or any motive for that matter to be an antagonist. Really, the plot started to fade towards the end and didn't feel the tension of what will happen next. While the novel isn't terrible it lacks character driven actions, clear plot, and doesn't keep you hooked after the first 100 pages. On the upside, you do get a sense of connection to the characters and unpopular topics about strap-on sex and gender role play were illustrated. I wouldn't recommend this book for those looking for a high-stake, page turner, rather a "steamy" simple romance novel

Sensory overload....in a good way!
Wowzers! This book had me hooked from the first paragraph when Claire states her plans for the evening to her best friend's orange tabby cat, Willow, not knowing that her best friend's sister, Alex, has returned home after being away for nine months. From there the intensity of the book keeps racheting up to unpredicted levels with the amazing chemistry between Claire and Alex, who've known each other for years. What starts off as a wine fueled reunion develops into a solid relationship based on communication, learning about the true person inside, and obviously a wonderful sexual dynamic. Thanks to the author's wife, Angie, for conceiving these characters and their history. What a generous birthday gift you received with this steamy book!

Amazing
I love how Meghan O'Brien let's the characters communicate! It's refreshing to have them outright state that they'll come back to a conversation. This was super well done and hot as all of O'Brien's stuff is. I enjoyed the growing pains of Claire and Alex with their insecurities, as well as the understandable growing pains with Sarah. This was a delight!

Honestly wanted way more
I loved this story and was so glad I got it after reading another book by this author and enjoying that one as well. I love how this author does character relationships and romance. Always so beautiful. I can easily stay in her world for quadruple the time I actually get. I never want the scenes to end, esp the tender, open ones. They're so real.

Oh Boy!!
The story here is a little on the thin side, I mean it’s there, but it’s not the priority. The sex on the other hand is 🔥🔥🔥. Truly the most erotic and arousing sex scenes I’ve ever read. If you’re into any gender play or strap on sex you absolutely want to read this!

Outstanding
Outstanding. Couldn't put it down once I'd started. As others have said there is a LOT OF SEX. I do however believe it is totally appropriate to the storyline.

It's hot in there
Not a great style. a PWP kind of story to be hot and bothered if you're into that kind of story.

Meghan O'Briens wife must be one happy lady!
Wow, just wow! This Meghan O'Brien novel was written as a birthday present for her wife and it just oozes love from every page. It's a story about Claire and her falling in love with Alex the older sister of Sarah, her best friend and business partner. Alex has been Claire's secret crush since she was twelve. Finally when Claire is 28, Alex is home to stay after travelling the world as a famous fashion photographer and after a few too many drinks the two spend the night together. Setting off on a wild ride of living out some of their sexual fantasies. Some people have commented on the copious amount of sex scenes in this story. But it is so much more than that. They must have forgotten (or never experienced) how in the first blooms of love you just can't get enough sex and everything and everyone fades in the back ground. O'Brien writes of the fall out, of falling for your best friend sister. The jealousy that rears its ugly head when Alex begins to spend more time with Claire and Sarah is struggling with sharing her best friend and business parter. The sibling rivalry. There is jealousy from an obsessed ex girlfriend determined to break the pair apart. The insecurities of all three women are shown in great depth as Claire and Alex's relationship deepens. Whether it be Claire's self doubt of being worthy of Alex's love in the long term, Alex's doubts that she is a worthy partner to someone as intelligent as Claire or Sarah's doubts that she is an equal business partner for Claire. Now let me just say that O'Brien writes a very good story and her sex scenes are very well written. This book has a plethora of very graphic sex scenes and roll playing. So if that is not to your liking then consider yourself warned. If you are into a little vogeurism, let me say you will be squirming in your seat with your heart pounding and a blush to your cheeks (in more ways that one) in no time at all. For this story sets off at a fast pace from the get go and you just have to hang on for a hell of a wild ride.Claire, Alex and Sarah are very real characters and are easy to relate to. I'm sure we can all recall how hard it is to balance everything when falling in love. I loved this book and I'm sure I will read it many times and I'm sure my partner will be happy about that too! As they say, happy wife, happy life!
