OPERA BIEN !!
INSTALACION, CALIDAD, Y FUNCIONAMIENTO MUY BIEN. DESDE UNA TERRAZA A UNA RECAMARA DE SEGUNDO LA SEÑAL LLEGA SIN PROBLEMA. ESPERO ASI SIGA!!OJO .....!!!! REQUIERE "CLICK" PREVIO EN CUALQUIERER TECLA PARA QUE OPERE,...EJEM SI DESEAS CAMBIAR DE CANAL DEBES DAR CLICK INICIAL CUALQUIER TECLA (SUGIERO LA DE CANAL EN ESTE CASO, O LA DE VOLUMEN SI ESO DESESAS AJUSTAR) SEGUIDO DE INMEDIATO POR EL SEGUNDO "CLLICK" O PRESION A LA TECLA!,.... ESTO NO ESTABA EXPLICADO Y PENSE FALLABA,...AL FINAL ES CONVENIENTE PORQUE EVITA TENER LA SIMEPRE MOLESTA "LUZ" ENCENDIDA AL FRENTE DEL APARATO,...AL PRIMER CLICK SE ENCIENDE, AJUSTAS LOQ UE QUIERES MANADANDO LA SEÑAL Y SE APAGA,....MUY COMODO!ESPERO SIGA FUNCIONANDO ASI, ESTOY A PUNTO DE ADQUIRIR EL SEGUNDO JUEGO!

SIIG was extremely easy to install
I recently changed cable providers to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner), and Spectrum gave me the Cisco 9865 DVR cable box. Since I keep all of my media equipment in an A/V room ~75 feet away, I required a solution that would be able to change channels on the box remotely. After days of researching, and a few failed attempts at using other wireless and wired IR Blaster solutions, I came across the SIIG. I'm blown away by how well these little guys work. First, they work perfectly when other products didn't. Second, there is no delay at all from when you press the remote and get a response. Third, SIIG was extremely easy to install. Fourth, at $45 buck this was much less expensive than other failed products. I HIGHLY recommend the SIIG.

Flawed but salvageable if you don't mind experimenting.
Seriously flawed but with one saving grace: It's the only wireless IR that can go through stucco wall (which is a deathtrap for RF due to the wire screen that is used to support the stucco) over a distance of 70 ft, pass several dry walls. I've probably owned every popular R Extenders made in the past 3 decades, none of which can begin to transmit 70 and across a stucco wall.. That said, the emitter output was anemic (one was bad) that it had to be taped right over the sensor of the controlled device. to work. I swapped the emitters with one of the emitters from J-Tech (which wasn't f able to support IR signals above 38Khz). The J tech emitters was far more stronger and can be placed a foot away from the sensor. But this is not the only failure of the SIIg unit, The cabled IRF sensor on the transmitter unit was also defective. Fortunately, I can place the transmitter unit close enough to my sitting area and dispense with the cabled IRF sensor. If not for the fact that I am highly experienced and have spared parts all over the place, I would have to give this a 1 star rating, not 4. The 4 rating is for it's unique ability to transmit over adverse conditions.

Had to return, it quit connecting after a few days! Oh well!
This product is Totally Awesome!! I've bought a couple of others. They were NOT worth a S__T!! I am good at this type of stuff. This one unpacked and instructions\diagrams looked at, install was less than 2 minutes!! I was able to lay on my bed and watch TV from my living room cable box. The product is IR and wireless, a big advantage! If you can\or have been able to run your cable box aux coax connection through a wall to another TV, perfect setup! You won't need an extra cable box!! No more $10.00 a month extra box fee!! $120.00-year savings!!!The only very small disadvantage. The little, little IR transmitters could use some double-stick tape. The drag from the weight of the power cord makes them move out of place. I just used a piece of painters tape as the double stick, problem solved!I'm very HAPPY with this product!!!!
