Major problem for me was getting a difinitive answer as to which of the two yellow wires coming out of stator was supposed to plug into the white wire for charging the battery. They sent me charts and diagrams of a white to white wire connection which didnt exist in my harness. I was afraid to damage the stator and face a possible refusal of refund process. Tired of waiting for an answer, now total of 3wks, i spun up flywheel with cover removed with a drill motor and found voltage output on one yellow wires which i plugged into battery white wire with battery installed. Feârful of damage, and no answer, I had to solve my own problem. Engine starts, runs and charges fine. Will change Questionable oil as its clear like mineral oil and no data what oil other than mineral it could be. Suggest first run with tappet cover removed to verify oil pressure to head. Another strange fact is the four threaded holes on bottom of crankcase for peg support bracket is threaded with M8x1.0 and nobody local or even Amazon doesn't have one of that bolt just the M8x1.25. Its like banished from the earth. But you can get the tap or die. Lol.

I bought this for a homemade drift trike, as seen in the pictures and I cannot be happier. The thing rips around. My sprocket ratio on the trike is 1 : 2.14 or (14 tooth front , 30 rear).When searching for parts that will work with this motor. Be sure to look for "chineese 125cc" or "Tao tao" wich is identical to this motor.The only issues have been the fact that there is no literature in the box and the only information that can be found regarding the motor is on this Amazon listing. So if you order thinking you will have instructions in the box, your mistaken.

Ran for a little while a few rides and won’t start only rode the go cart a few times after putting new motor very disappointed I was expecting better product from Amazon

Listing says 4 spd finally got it out of the box and getting ready to install and found sticker on the casing that says it’s a 3spd

I’ve beat the crap out of this motor daily since I received it, it’s worthy of 5 stars.Came pre-tuned, too. 🙂🙂🙂
