The picture on Amazon does not do the item justice. It looks dull and uninteresting in. I’m parison to other globes on line. First, I was pleasantly surprised that the item came assembled. No need to fiddle around with the base and the parts. Second, the globe’s lettering are clear and the color is vibrant. The glossy and shine made the globe looks classy for display on the desk at home. The 13” size is perfect. It is not too large and is not too small. The price is in the medium range and is affordable. It won’t dent your budget.

It’s handy to get fast to country or city locations without google it.

This globe was a huge hit with my 7 year old. He loved the marker and magnets and spent so much time looking for places and marking places out. I deducted a star because the plastic on the magnets all broke within a few weeks.

Size is good. My grandson was very happy to receive it for Christmas. He is in 7th grade.

This a beautiful globe. We have primary school grandchildren (ages 5, 7, and soon 9) and for them we already have large maps of the world and of the USA on a wall in our kitchen. They love to look at those maps. But we were missing the dimension that a globe would present. This globe is exactly what we were looking for.

The globe was beautiful, and I wanted to love it. However, I am returning it for three reasons:1. It squeaked with every rotation.2. There was a loose piece inside the globe that rattled every time the globe moved.3. The globe was poorly weighted and it wouldn't stay upright. Antarctica stayed on top most of the time unless I held onto it.
