Work Well, But
I bought these because I needed locking casters to install on a new electric smoker.These lock - very securely. If you simply push the locking tab down all the way, which seems intuitive, then you will need a hand tool to release them. It is just not possible to simply reach down with your foot, or your fingers, and release them from fully engaged. There does seem to be a "lesser lock" position with the lever down less than 45 degrees, and I will have to try to use this in the future.Otherwise, well made, easy to install and roll as expected for small wheels.EDIT: Found the locking position with the lever down slightly. Seems to work OK. Just have to be careful not to push the lever fully down.
