Great tires
This is a great tire for the right application. I've used quite a few Carlisle Tires over the years and have never been disappointed. The description says the tread is non-directional which is incorrect. They definitely have directional tread and it's indicated on the tire sidewall as well. Really a solid little tire though for the correct application.

Well worth the money
I have an older 13.5 hp Sears mid engine rider that I bought used but in excellent condition. Similar to the picture of the red modern version. I love it. But my new house comes with a couple of hills and this type of mower is definitely not the right one for hills as it loses traction easily. But it has typical turf tires and they are little worn since it’s older. So after I waited for a dry spell I tested the hp of the engine on a steep incline where I could back if I got stuck. It climbed it with ease but struggled with traction. So I gambled that these tires would make a difference. And man It’s a little billy goat now. It’s a mini ATV that cuts grass. Now the cons. It does arrive strapped together which deforms the tires to the point it looks unusable. I added 5” wood blocks between the beads on each tire and left them in the sun just like a previous suggestion. It worked. I unmounted the old tires and was able to get the tires off ok. But I gave up mounting these new ones, just too stiff as they are heavy duty. Took the rims and tires to an ATV retailer with a mini tire changer and they mounted them for $20. The regular tire store didnt seem interested.

What I needed.
These tires were delivered promptly and in good condition. They must have changed shipping procedure as my two tires were not compressed at all. They still took some work to mount as most small tires can be stiff and cranky. My yard is not normal mowing terrain, many times my original turf tires on my John Deere x570 would slide in downhill turns causing angst and increased heart rate. These tires are a great improvement. One of these did suffer a puncture in the sidewall which is a bummer but I do mow some gnarly areas that include thorn covered over growth. A plug in the sidewall of a brand new tire is not what I like to see but it’s up and running fine. Over all I’m happy with the product.Update; 08/29/23Just a note to x570 owners. When making extreme left turns the lugs will catch on the steering tie rod. I popped the ball out of the tie rod end on one such occasion. Still a better tire than the original turf tires for my situation.

Great for snowblowers
A used Simplicity had tires that were rotting away and the rims were rusty. These wheels/tires have very aggressive tread, just what you want for use in snow. They do the job and haven't lost any air in a couple years.

Great tire!!!....but a total Bear to install....come ready to work
So my wife ordered 2 of these as replacements for our JD trailer. Great tire but too much tire for what we needed. We had tube tires and this can be used tubeless as it.was an extremely tight fit. I got them both on but it took 2 people and I nearly broke down and went and had them put on. Even watched a video in case I turned stupid and didn't remember how to change a tire. Not the case....its a very rigid tire and it was even difficult to I set the tube into the rim once it was half on. I even considered going to my local Har. FRT and bought a small tire changer for 40bucks. But in the end it just took elbow grease along with real grease(vaseline) 2 screwdrivers and a piece of 18" long 3/4 Ă— 3/16 bar stock to spin around the inside of the rim to force the bead on. Be ready to work!!! But the tire overall is very well made and in the end I'm glad I toughed it out because I don't think I will ever have to replace these things . Hope this helps your decision.

Great traction, easy install
I upgraded from an old set of Carlisle ag style tires on my brush cutter to these. What a great improvement. The only thing that will hold it back now are immovable objects. Now when that happens you have to let off or you're digging serious ruts. Very happy with the traction.Install for both tires with new tubes was about a half hour. I am a tire noob and it was a breeze with soapy water and a pry bar.

These Are Very Badly Warped Tires
These tires arrived in a reasonable time of less than a week. However, when they arrived they were banded together so tightly that both tires are completely warped out of shape. I have had spacers inside both tires for about a week in hopes they would regain their form, however after all this time, they are still warped so badly I'm not even sure I can get them mounted on my 6" mower rims, and If I can get them mounted and sealed to the rims, I'm not certain they will even roll and track properly because even the tread, along with the side walls, are warped all out of shape.I will attempt to mount these in another week or so hoping that they may regain more of their molded shape before I attempt to put them on my rims. If I cannot get them mounted and sealed to my rims, or if they do not track or roll properly because they are so badly warped, I will attempt to send them back to the retailer here on Amazon and I will make an addition to this post to report what has happened with this mess.If the manufacturer or whoever banded these tires had not banded them so tight that the entire set of tires are completely warped out of shape, they would most likely be an excellent purchase. Its bad news when you spend good money on tires and they arrive so warped and twisted out of shape that it takes a week or more just to try to reshape them so they will mount on your rims. There is no excuse to banding tires so tightly like this that it destroys the tires and then selling these messed up tires to the public. If you order these tires you have been warned, and there are other reviews by customers who have given this same warning about these tires.Update: These were totally un-moutable even by a pro tire shop with a hydraulic tire machine. I sent them back for a refund.

Amazing tires
I loved how these tires looked. They looked so good and I haven't put them on yet but I'm sure they work great! Can't wait to put them on and try them out. They came four days earlier than expected which is amazing. Would highly recommend

Unusable tire!!!! Warped beyond belief
This tire is unusable. Doesn't even look like a tire. The thing is warped beyond recognition. Worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon. How the seller can send a customer something like this is unimaginable. If I could give a minus 5 stars on this I would. Stay away
