These are the most popular leather chews around my house. My two little dogs are 13 &15 lbs and I have trouble keeping enough of these around. A new 2 pack just arrived and they both ignored the new leather rings that also came, grabbed these, and are energetically working away at them. I've added a picture, which is a bit blurry since the puppy isn't much on holding still for the camera, but you can see his enthusiasm.Hopefully, they'll keep him distracted for a while from his belief that the world's his chew toy, and only an inexcusable monster would have made a fuss about the new $25 dog bed he ripped open to gleefully shred the foam padding. At least if he ingests a bit of leather it's much less likely to require surgery than that foam I so cruelly took away from him. I think I may have to double my Subscribe and Save order, though. (sigh)I also like the fact that these are not only made from US beef, they are manufactured here rather than processed abroad like so many others.

We purchase these for our Pembroke Corgi. There are many different bones, skins, antlers, and hides we've tried with her and these are the only ones she both stays interested in and doesn't get sick from. We use them as a pacifier and they work wonders. Literally whenever we leave the house with her in tow, we make sure to being a pack of these. They don't last long (maybe about an hour or two) but it's well worth it for our pup.

I have an American Pit Bull. Any rawhide that is flat he will chew and try to swallow in chunks, then choke them back up. Makes me worry he will not be able to spit the chunks back up one time. These sticks take a little more time for him to chew and the design does not allow him to bite off big pieces, so he gets rawhide and no choking. Just wish they were a little cheaper but still these are his "go to" for rawhide treats.

Okay, upfront I gotta say this is kind of a strange review to write. These bones last fairly well for my active chewers. They are listed for a fairly good price as well. As for the flavor...er, well. That's where it gets weird. I have NO PERSONAL experience or input on that but gave it 5 stars because "the kids" love these bones. If they could I'm sure they would give this review full stars as they were sniffing the delivery box from the get go and wouldn't leave me alone until I gave them one each. Hope your furries enjoy them as much. At least they are not made in China, India or Mexico like 95% of other similar products are.

I'm not sure why it's so difficult to find dog treats that are not made in China, so I was very happy to be able to come across these. My hound tends to sit with her rawhide for a bit and simply "treasure" it before she digs in, and it takes her a while before she really begins to chew. One thing we've had a problem with in the past are chew treats that negatively affect her digestion. She's had no issue with that while using these rawhides. With other chews she sometimes gets to the end and ditches it before it's gone, but she's finished each of these off completely and has wasted nothing. I would love to be able to buy more at one for a little less money, but such seems to be the case with the US made products. I would much rather know where the materials are coming from than to worry about the kinds of things that occur when being produced elsewhere.

don't expect these too last too long. My dog did enjoy them and they kept him busy, but only for a short amount of time. For reference, my dog is a 30lb beagle mix. He chewed these apart within a couple hours. Since they are braids, he was able to rip apart the braid leaving 2 small narrow pieces behind. I didn't feel comfortable with him chewing on such small pieces so I had to throw them out. I recommend the Castor & Pollux pretzel rawhide, as in the past that shape has lasted longer with my pup.

My dog was very happy with this bone !! It did not make a mess and lasted about an hour which is pretty good for him!

These are the most addictive treat we give our large breed dog. She CANNOT put it down. We don't love the smell of rawhide, and I do think they give her gas later on. However, she cannot focus on anything else but these when she gets them. We like to keep these on hand for special occasions when we need to occupy the dog while we finish a project, and they came in really handy on a recent trip where we needed her to stay still for awhile without getting bored. They are just long enough where she can chew on one end, and hold the other with her paw, which is one of her pickiest standards for whether a treat is good or not. Nice hack for dealing with some of the crazy puppy energy:)
