HANDL New York HANDLstick Classic Blue Grip and Stand for Smartphone

Out of all the phone grips I've tried, the handlstick is definitely my favorite. I had a gold one (until I accidentally microwaved it 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️🤣), and this white one that I painted. It is snug around my fingers, so I can see how it might be a little uncomfortable for someone with larger hands, but it's perfect for me. I have a samsung z flip 3, and when the handlstick is stuck to the bottom left of my case, I'm able to touch my entire screen using my phone with one hand. I was able to do the same on my LG Wing as well. The adhesive is strong af, too, so I'm more worried about the bottom half of the case popping off my phone than I am about the handlstick coming off...oh, using it as a stand is kinda tricky and there's only one position, so I have a ring on the top half of my case I use instead.

This was the worst handl or phone accessory I’ve ordered. After 1 month it just popped off therefore adhesive wasn’t great (it didn’t ruin my case which is good- only good thing about it). As far as the handl itself, it didn’t do all those swivel ways the video shows ..it only did one and it was harder than you know what to get it to do just the one, and it has a piece of elastic which looks like inner jean waist elastic. Never would I recommend this nor purchase again.

I love the way this product looks but it was very tight and almost painful to my hand when I tried to use it. I didn’t realize that it is elastic and doesn’t just pop in and out like a lot of the round popsockets. I took it off my case almost as soon as I put it on (after trying it several times to see if I could get used to it). It also does not allow the phone to stand up vertically. Horizontal is fine but when I tried to use the stand upright the phone was too heavy and kept pushing the stand back flat.

TL;DR: If wireless charging and a specific car holder isn't important, this is a great option!Pros: Comfortable and secure grip. Sticks to my case very well (so far). Pretty easy to install. Once you figure out how to lock it in place it works quite well as a stand in both vertical and horizontal.Cons: On my Galaxy S22 Ultra, with a case, I cannot get it to work with qi (wireless) charging. May not fit in some car mounts.As of the date I purchased this, the description read "will not interfere with wireless chargers". In response to customer feedback this has been updated to "compatible with most wireless chargers" (props to Handl's team for keeping it updated). That may be true, I'm not able to test that. I can say in my scenario (Galaxy S22 Ultra, case, Handl, high end Anker wireless charger) it does not work. In addition, with the Handl on my phone no longer fits in my car mount. For these reasons I will be returning it.This is too bad because I really like it for a lot of things. it's comfortable to use, feels solid in my hand like I won't drop it, and the stand works very well (with a slight learning curve figuring out where to lock it in place the first couple times). Instructions for setup are very good, and the template they send is very useful, even on large phones.As I said, if you don't care about wireless charging, and you have a car holder with a lot of flexibility, this is a great grip option.

If the product is anything like the customer service then I have complete faith in it.I have yet to try my new green phone Handlstick however i will get to it soon.The company originally sent out the incorrect order (the rose gold instead of the green).I contacted them and they IMMEDIATELY responded with kindness and courtesy.My order was fixed and even had a nice surprise in it.When I finally try the product I KNOW it will be wonderful.If it disappoints I will surely be back to update my review.To the company: Thank you, the process was not painful or dragged out. I appreciate it, in these times a little kindess goes a long way. I appreciate you. You are highly recommend.

This was my second HANDL purchase. I used my first one for almost a year before having to replace it. I loved it! It was sleek and my phone would slide into my pocket with ease and didn't hang up like with the 'pop' things that I had been using on my phones. The adhesive was still very strong on the HANDL when I removed it from my phone case. I the only reason I removed it from the case was that the stretchy band between the base and the part that goes on the outside of my hand had lost its stretch. I was really surprised that it lasted so long and through so much use and abuse. I purchased this replacement one from Amazon and attached it to my phone case. The only problem I had with this one was that there was a tiny edge underneath the outer piece that kept stabbing me in my finger. It finally broke through the skin and I couldn't use it anymore because my finger wouldn't heal from the piece stabbing into my finger when I used it. I removed it from the case and haven't replaced it yet. I loved the deign, durability and ease of use. My first one was great. The second one was too with exception of the flaw in the edge of the material. I want to give 5 stars but will only give 4 because of this small exception

Easy to apply and the thickness actually makes the phone easier to hold when not using the handl. I have very small hands so this is a plus.Huge downside, the elastic is not capable of holding in place when trying to display the phone vertically. The phone just falls on its back and when you pick it up the handl snaps back in place. I used the included alignment kit for good measure. Also bought the car vent which is a nice addition minus not being able to display the phone horizontally.

It sticks to the back of my phone well enough but it does add extra thickness to my phone. Makes my phone feel bulkier.The problem is the kickstand always snaps back because it's held by a elastic band. It retracts at its own will and phone falls flat as the result. Annoying!
