adidasUnisex Edge.2 Firm Ground Soccer Shoe

I bought these for my 10 year old grandson who plays on two soccer teams and a baseball team. These are a good sturdy soccer shoe. With that being said, They are very stiff and hard to break in. He has always likeAdidas so I upgraded and bought him what I thought would be a better pair. I would not pay the extra money for these again. He prefers the ones that cost 1/2 as much.

This is a solid pair of boots. Only reason I'm with-holding the 5-star is because the first two weeks I had nasty blisters on the back of my feet.

The upper section where the laces go under the sock like material is very uncomfortable on the bridge (top of my foot). Its very tight, mixed with the fact that the laces don't lay flat creates hard pressure points. Poor design. And I think I got unlucky with the manufacturing process because the right shoe is slightly larger than the left shoe (measured difference, not just gut feel). That contributes to even worse pressure on left foot, but the right is still uncomfortable. I have played 4 games in them and the the mid section has not stretched , but the toe box has stretched a little. Oh, and its not improper size choice, because I tried size 11 and and there was so much space in between the front of my toes and the front of the shoe. size 10.5 was the correct size for the amount of room at the front of the shoe, but the mid section is so tight. I would steer away from this model. I have used many adidas footwear products for basketball, running, soccer, etc, and these are just oddly terrible.

These shoes were for my grand-son and he is a huge soccer player and picked them out and loves them.

My 10 year old loved these shoes and wanted them. I went over all the negative reviews with her. She told me she would let me know if she started seeing problems. We have had them 4 months now and I've had to use my trusty shoe goo glue to hold them together since about the 3rd month. She uses them heavily, playing in them 6 out of 7 days of the week. But the bottom line is the shoes are falling apart, I am just hoping to get at least 6 months out of them. Don't think that will happen.Poor quality, bad craftsmanship, and a lack of doing the little things that matter. I will not look to Adidas for any soccer gear in the future, which is sad, I grew up with that brand and to see it cut so many corners is just pathetic. I recommend you buy with care and don't expect more that 4-5 months of use. Thank you.

My son bought a different pair of soccer shoes that were more expensive but didn't have the cushion and comfort at the back heal area of the shoe and in the other pair he immediately got blisters on the back of his ankles. We purchased this pair and he immediately felt more comfort and even with the shoes being new and not broken in yet, they fit well and were far more comfortable. These shoes are a great bargain for the price. Comfortable and work great. Good padding in the back ankle/heal area of the shoe. Very happy with the purchase. And no more blisters.

The shoes instep has rubber traction strips which allows for grippiness and improved accuracy. Ball is also easier to bend. Amazing shoes!

These predators were super large on me and super tight. I am a size 6.5y and they gave me like 7.5y. These shoes are super tight on me and super uncomfortable, thank you.
