directs steam away from you so you don't get burnt - excellent safety addition or any instant pot

It’s not cute but it works well!
I think this should be included with every instant pot! Nobody likes the steam shooting straight into the cabinets. I like that I can divert the steam over to the stove vent or out the window. It works really well and fit over my Instant Pot Duo Pro really well. No complaints, other than it’s a bit ugly but meh.

Useful Gadget
The only thing I dislike about this is that it doesn't affix itself to anything. If you're not holding it when you release the pressure on the instant pot it WILL go flying.

Steam Release Diverter
I didn't know these existed until my son told me he had one. This is a great help when I don't want to wait for the steam to release in my instant pot. It cuts down on the time it takes to finish cooking.

Safety Device ---redirects steam safely away from cabinets and face. (Instant Pot 3Qt)
Absolutely ESSENTIAL! It safely diverts the steam from my 3 qt. Instant Pot so I can easily avoid being scalded plus avoid damaging my cabinets over the counter! I cannot believe it's not provided with the Instant Pot !

NOT a snug fit for the 6qt Duo-Plus
Seems to be made very well, however without even trying it I know the quick pressure relief is going to make this steam diverter a projectile. If I have to hold it place, what's the purpose? I was already manually diverting the steam with $2 wooden spoon. Don't stop here, folks. Keep searching.

This really worked & was easy to use
This really worked to aim the released steam away from my cabinets. I have an Instant Pot Max & it was easy to put on over the steam release valve & it stayed on well.

It works
I have only used it once. I was pretty disappointed that I had to pay so much more for one that fit my LUX Instapot but it does the job that I bought it for.

Awkward, but it works
I got tired of cleaning the tile backsplash, this product, although quirky looking and a bit awkward to use, does work.

waste of money
The pressure of the steam blows this right off the Instantpot - what a waste of money. I have to hold it on for it to work, defeats the purpose as then I burn my hand.
