Songbird Essentials SE6025 Dr. JB's Complete Switchable 32 oz Feeder with Red Flowers (Bulk) (Set of 1)

I’ve tried quite a few hummingbird feeders and this is the best one out there. I have several feeders, each one placed on different sides of my house so the dominant male can’t guard them all at the same time (this is basic hummingbird behavior, and keeping him busy is the best way to ensure that they all have a chance to feed). These feeders don’t leak, they’re very easy to clean completely (very important for the birds’ health, as mold can grow quickly in the sugar solution). The flower-shaped feeding ports pop out so you can keep them clean, and there are also replacement flower sets in different colors, a nice touch. One of the best smart features is that there are three interchangeable reservoir sizes, so you can start with the small one and get bigger ones as your population grows without having to replace the entire feeder. Great feeder and very nice people to deal with.

This doesn't leak so much on our very windy days here in NM. It took a little time for the hummers to get used to it, but they adapted. I don't have the nector being blown out of the feeder all over the ground anymore. There is a trick to getting the two red base pieces apart. Press down on the top and the two pieces pop apart for cleaning. I like the red flowers....the yellow color attracts bees. The top is easy to clean also and holds a lot. It is time to clean it and change the nector before it runs out. I have found an ant sometimes inside, but that is much more rare than with other feeders.

I've had a number of hummingbird feeders over the years. Older ones from Perky Pets featured hard to clean reservoirs and glass jars. After breaking a few of the glass feeders, I tried these and am now sold on them. The parts are plastic, dishwasher safe (top rack) and easily accomodate the feeder heater I also bought on Amazon from another provider. If I ever have more than the highly territorial Anna's hummingbirds at my feeder, I can add larger reservoirs. Thank you, Dr. JB, for making a durable, interchangeable hummingbird feeder.

I've used and reviewed a lot of feeders over the last couple of years. This is really one of the easiest to clean and care for. Both parts go into the dishwasher, so you never have to worry about mold.Mold is a terrible problem for these little guys, because they can die a slow, painful death . Their little throats swell up and they starve.My only issues are that the plastic top eventually gets cloudy, and it isn't really a bird first choice. They use it when the other feeder is occupied.

The hummingbirds love this feeder. It is easy to clean as the base comes apart and the little flowers pull out so you can get rid of all the mold. Best of all I can put 16 oz of nectar in at a time. This summer was so dry in Central Mass that they would guzzle it all in just a few days. Just remember: no soap, just water and scrub and a bleach soak (1 tablespoon of bleach to 2 qts of water) occasionally to get rid of all the mold.

Was advertised as both jar and bottom unit. Received the jar only. Fortunately, we have a bottom that fit the jar.

The BEST feeder I have owned in 50 years. Easy to clean, wide moth so easy to fill, doesn't crack or break, repels ants and wasp

This is a very nice feeder. The birds like it and it is easy to clean.
