VViViD Double Primed Cotton Canvas 36 Inch Wide Roll Choose Your Size! (10 Foot x 36 Inch)

I am an artist and always looking for quality canvas at a reasonable cost. But quality has got to be there. This canvas is great. Durable, primed, and good to throw on stretcher bars or adhere to mdf for painting oils acrylics or not too heavy mixed media. It doesn't have a really great tooth however with some 400 grit gentle hand sanding you should be able to get that. So the only quip I have is this. It wasn't 5 ft in length and you need to go the extra mile and put a core tube to roll it onto while shipping. It came packaged in a great big amazon box well protected from being damaged however since its rolled without a tube core it has horrible ripples and wrinkles that quite frankly I don't have the time to steam or iron out although I will this time. My 5 star is really for the canvas. Add an extra $2 and put in a cardboard tube to keep out the ripples. And give me the 5 feet next time not 52 inches yes it matters to get what you paid for.

Worked well. Came in a roll and took awhile to get it to lay flat without wrinkles.

This is the first time I've ordered a canvas. I used it to make am abstract painting.

Such a great value. If you want to stretch your own canvases or need something big, this will do what you need. It was a nice thickness and well prepped with gesso.

I first bought a roll of 15x36 and found the quality of the canvass to be good, so when I ran out, I decided to buy a large quantity. I ordered the 100x 36. I was surprised it was not a larger roll when it arrived, but thought perhaps it was rolled extra tight. I find the canvas to be only adequate, but not of very high quality. When stretching on the stretcher bars, it tends to rip easily. The first roll did not have that problem. This canvas is much thinner.

The material is very good for painting and my wife she is an artist she was happy with this product , I recommend this product

It’s okay for practicing but not sure for selling. I’ve never stretched anything before but after painting on it, the canvas is quite stiff, especially if you use a lot of paint. Not sure if this would stretch nicely. It’s prone to cracking if there’s plenty layers of paint. BUT it looks great in a glass frame, using just minimal layers of paint so the canvas doesn’t curl or ripple. I use acrylic paint and a mix of brushes and it works fine, though it does feel a little more synthetic rather than cotton. I find that it adheres to thick viscosity paints better than very watered down paints. It’s good if you want a whole roll to have fun with or if you want a huge custom size piece canvas to work on.

I used my canvas as a practice spray painting sheet and it hold the paint well, I keep painting over and over and I just fold it up once dry, works so well

Not the best quality of canvas. If you're looking to paint on this, reconsider your option. This is extremely thin and might not hold well

I love this canvas, I paint for a hobby and its brilliant to paint on. The thickness is great, and the price I'm very pleased with. Great item, well worth the money, I will buy this item again, when I need some more.
