Good for curtain room divider
Used it to hang a curtain to cover my laundry machine room which didn’t have a door. This pole was very sturdy and the curtain never fell even once. Probably because the Rubber end caps held it in place along with the twist to expand to tightly fit the width function. This rod is so good. On the other hand, the rod I used for my actual shower curtain fell many times. Gotta pay for quality..

Finally! It works!!
Why in the world is buying a shower curtain rod such a task now??? No really. They either want you to pay 60 plus bucks for a piece of metal or it just doesn't work. I went through 4....FOUR different rods. All have great reviews, formal blessings passed from the Pope himself....Yada Yada Yada. All 4 were junk. Round 4 I had 3 other able bodied adults attempt to assist in getting the rod to stay up with no luck.Aaaanywhoooo.....I spent time floating through Amazon and took a chance. Take my advice BUY IT!Doesn't cost a fortune and all 5 ft 3 of me got it up and secure on the 1st attempt!! Let me tell you it's secure! I really feel like I accomplished adulting.

Sturdy
Getting ready to remove a shower stall door, so have tested out about 5 different style tension rods and this is the winner!I’ve left this up for the week and pulled on it several times and it is NOT BUDGING!The problem with the others was, they slipped after the shower steam heated up the area, or the water splashed on the tile around the auction ends, or it simply fell after we put the curtain on to test the strength, or the worst was that the notch where the bar can be twisted more to be extended, held up the curtain rings so the curtain doesn’t slide well.I took the curtain off for the picture but it held up so far great to all those issues. This is a great value too!

Simple, Functional, Easy to Install
I openly admit that I'm neurotic when it comes to wanting to cover stuff in my garage that I deem to be "not aesthetically pleasing." I have bought cabinets/containers, and sewn covers for just about all the unsightly things in the garage except the water heater. Until now! Thanks to this easy, and just-the-right-size shower curtain rod, no one need suffer the eyesore that is the heater of H2O ever again. I had some trouble initially finding a curtain rod that would fit this gap as it is, I believe, 26" and I guess that is neither a standard shower nor window size. Most of the tension rods I found started at a larger size like 28+, and I really didn't want to have to drill a rod permanently into the wall. This rod arrived quickly, was really easy to twist to make it longer and lock it into place, and is (so far) very sturdy. It probably won't be "put to the test" on it's strength, since the curtain I made isn't going to get touched much, but for my purposes it was a 5-star.

Seriously tough! Unmovable!
This is the best tension rod I have ever seen or used. The end caps come off easily, allowing you to slide a curtain in, like I did. The rubber ends grip the wall (sheetrock) very firmly. In fact, there's so much pressure applied, I would think this would never come off on its own. The setup is quick and easy: just rotate the tube and adjust to your liking. Turn the rod as far as you like to tighten it once you have it in your desired spot. I was worried the rod would slide off after a while, but the rubber end caps grip the wall so hard, it prevents any sliding. I've had a curtain hanging for like a month now, and it hasn't budged, Yet, all it takes is a quick turn in the right direction in order to loosen and remove it, making it convenient, yet sturdy. You definitely get what you pay for here. The material is like stainless steel, similar to my spoons and forks, so I think it would be resistant to damage. It also doesn't bend or flex in the middle, similar to other cheap, plastic rods. Highly recommended!

Value and confidence
This rod arrived timely. It is very easy to install. The fact that is is metal should make it last longer then the plastics rods.
