While I like the ceiling fan in my bedroom, I never cared for the lights that came with the fan kit. I had looked at Lowes and Home Depot for replacements but they didn't have much to offer. The Westinghouse kit on Amazon fit the bill. Replacing the lights on my fan was a breeze - probably took me 15 minutes tops. The globes are nice, if a bit pedestrian, but my alternative was to replace the whole fan and lights. The antique brass finish was a great match for my existing fan hardware.

I was desperately looking for an antique brass (hard to find) replacement light kit after my previous one broke & I couldn't find the replacement part! This fit my 20+ year old Hunter fan perfectly! I love it, easy to install for this 67 year old gal lol... I like that the glass is somewhat frosted, not solid white! I'd purchase another one for my other 2 Hunter's, if needed!

This was not easy to install. I bought this to replace existing lights on my ceiling fan that had burned up. The problem was that the diameter of the housing on the light was the same diameter as the housing on the fan. I had to bend a piece of metal to go inside the fan and light housings so I could screw them together. If you're handy you can get it to work, and it works great. The color of the metal housing matched perfectly. Looks great, works great. Just took a little effort to get it mounted

I could install it myself, having never installed anything more complicated than a lightbulb. Looks really nice.

The only big negative I've seen in other reviews is whether this will work with existing fans. Many fans have a three-screw mount system, and this is not directly compatible, but it will usually still work. The trick is that with most such fans, you remove the three screws, pull off the cover plate, and then remove a plug from the center of the cover plate. This light screws into the hole in the middle of the cover plate. Yes, it would be nicer if it replaced the cover plate and used the same three-screw mounting, but that's a minor issue.Also be aware that this is set up for a French Canadian plug wiring system, and for USA wiring, you have to cut off the ends of the wires, strip them, and use the included wire nuts. I wasn't expecting to have to strip wires, so it was a little more complicated to install than I expected.The included LED bulbs put out a nice warm (yellowish) light that is quite bright--it nicely lights the room, which is exactly what we wanted.I ordered the used version, and the box had clearly been opened and resealed, but everything was included and in perfect condition. I ordered a second used one for another room, and it arrived with one of the glass shades broken. Amazon sent a replacements, and the bag of screws was open with missing screws, but I hadn't shipped back the other one yet, so all was good. I also noted that two of the other shades had hairline cracks, but I was left with three good ones.I've added four photos showing (1) the parts, (2) the fan I attached it to with a center plug on the cover, (3) the light attached to the center cover, and (4) the final result.

Works great and fixed my problem as intended. Relatively easy to install and fit my fan as expected.

Very disappointed, 2 out of the 3 shades were busted and can't be used. Apparently this is a common occurance as other reviews have stated the same issue. I'm also not able to start a return as there's no option to do so. Now I have to go buy replacement shades which will probably cost just as much as this crappy light

We purchased this item as a quick update to a very outdated light kit on an existing ceiling fan. Fit like a glove! Installed in under 10 min. once old hardware was removed. Has round wire connectors, whereas ours had square but they provided marettes to accommodate two simple wire connections. Not sure of what make the existing fan is. My only issue was that the bulbs provided look a little small in the globes - easy fix - will purchase different LED bulbs and use these in another fixture. Light they provide, however, is decent and it is just my personal preference.

One of the glass shades came damaged. The rest of the product was good. I am hoping they send me a replacement. I guess we will see if they respond.
