Nice
I bought this for my great grandson who’s 5. Hoping he will like it. Its for Christmas and I don’t know if he will be able to read it himself. I think it should resonate with him . And I enjoyed the little read.

Easy reading book
Christmas gift for grandson who is 6 he had gotten this book at his school library and loved it. I found it online and ordered it so he could have it at home. He reads it all the time as he always says he is bored but loves the book. Great size and made well.

Great thought of what kids can do when they address bored.
Great story line, only a potatoe can be that bored. I like her persistence. Can't wait to read it to my grandchildren.

I've bought three!
I bought this after reading a write-up on it (sorry, can't remember where I saw the review), and checked it out here. I thought the illustrations I saw in the samples were adorable, and the concept of her aPeeling to a potato was brilliant. I bought one copy, read it to my class, who all loved it, and after that reaction from a focus group of 7 year olds, I bought 2 more for gifts. One is for my niece who, according to her father's Facebook post, recently announced she was bored. Her solution was for her parents to give her a brother or sister. I think a potato would be much less of a commitment.

Wow, my preschoolers loved this. Giggles throughout
Thank you to the previous reviewer. This was a great hit with my girls. I was looking for something to explained being bored in a lighthearted way. This does it in bucket loads but in a really entertaining way. They empathised with the main character & the potato. They really got it & laughed all the way through, especially at the talking potato. Love the off the wall creativity & simple illustrations & highlights. Fun to read as a parent & lots of lol for the children. Will be looking for more from this author.

Cute and funny
Not much text here but my daughter loved it. Gives you a different perspective when you think you're bored (as a child).

What to do when your kid says they're bored!
Eventually every kid complains that they're bored. Here's the answer - read them this book and give them a potato! The book is beautifully illustrated by my friend Debbie Ohi. Am I biased? Well, sure, but as a grandmother I've read a LOT of childrens books, and this one is worth it. I've given copies to all my grandchildren and a number of other little people, who all seem to enjoy it too.
