ISMOD Nano Kit, (Smart Tobacco Heating Device) - Compatible with Heets (Pebble Beige)

I bought this when I suddenly needed to replace my IQOS Multi in a hurry (I’d noticed the rubber ring around the edge of the blade plate had partially burned or worn away, and there were like, burnt chunks of it coming out while I was cleaning it).I’ve had the ISMOD Nano for a few weeks now.The Pros: The battery life of the ISMOD Nano is really good, and it charges quickly. You get more “experiences” per charge than any IQOS device, and the quality of the experiences themselves are on par with IQOS, or maybe even better. It’s much, much easier to clean than the IQOS devices. There is a sliding holder around the pin (which itself feels more robust than IQOS’s blade), which can be removed. This pretty much negates any issues around snapped-off HEETS or the tobacco core getting stuck. Whenever the tobacco core gets trapped, I just slide the holder out, tap or flick it while upside down, and the problem is solved. It’s also more modular than the IQOS devices, so it’s easier to replace any parts that break down.Best of all: I assume IQOS users have experienced the same issue I have—MANY times—where a HEET doesn’t fit in the device. It’s as though it’s a fraction of a millimetre too big, and you’d have to cram it into the device—if you’re even able to. If you manage to, the “experience” is sub-par, and then when you’re trying to remove it, HEET almost always snaps or tears off at the filter base and you have to perform surgery to extract the rest of it.Not only would that process be easier if it happened with the ISMOD Nano, but it’s unlikely to happen. Those HEETS that wouldn’t fit into my IQOS Multi (I called them “duds”) slide easily into and out of the ISMOD Nano. I haven’t had a single “dud” HEET situation since I switched to the Nano.The Cons: There aren’t any, really, unless one’s being really picky. I guess the device doesn’t look or feel quite as high tech/luxurious as the IQOS one, but the trade-off in quality and ease of use far outweigh this. The only other thing is that once the battery level changes from blue to green, there’s actually very little power left. So basically, just charge it asap once the colour changes (don’t wait for it to die halfway into an experience).I really have no complaints about this device, and plenty of praise for it. You’re very unlikely to regret making the switch. I’ll probably invest in another, just to be sure I have a back-up.

Arrived on schedule. Everything as it should be.I was not really expecting this to be any good to be honest. I have vaped for a few years now, spending fortunes on numerous devices yet not able to break totally free from cigarettes, just never a big enough hit to stop me reaching for a smoke every now and then although I did enjoy some of the juice flavours.I received it just over a week ago, tried the turquoise heets which had an odd taste, so not surprisingly, thought oh well, another waste of money.However, I then tried the dark blue heets and lo and behold, a much more satisfying smoke. I have genuinely not had a cigarette for 8 days, just not fancied one, which has been a big surprise.I have found I am not pining for a smoke like I would normally using the conventional vaping method. Also, I have found I am only using this device about ten times a day, so £2.50 a day in cost which is a huge saving bonus.The device itself takes a little getting used to but once you have cracked it, I find each individual heet smokes a little longer than a normal cigarette by a puff or two and the smoking experience is quite similar to a real cigarette. I use the green setting.I personally would strongly recommend buying this device if you want to cut out cigarettes. Just the removal of all that tar and horrid smell is enough to make me ever more determined not to go back to smoking cigarettes.Hopefully a few more can kick the habit, good luck.

It's easier to clean than IQOS, indeed. However, the cleaning instructions presented on the distributor's website are far from reality - it's really hard to clean the heating pin with the cleaning stick, so in reality, you'd need to replace the pin every 2 weeks to maintain it properly. Now, the build-up on the pin wouldn't matter but it does affect the experience significantly and I since replacing the pin 10 days ago (my device arrived on 26 September 2022), I can already feel the difference in the intensity of the vapour produced despite cleaning it every single day (~18 sticks).Also, with a new heating pin, the sticks get slightly burned, even on low heat settings.To summarize, I'm not very happy with it and started looking for alternatives as my biggest issue with IQOS is the cleaning which ISMOD solves elegantly but at the price of the short life of the pins - not worth it.

After using it many months, It is clear from the first use that there is a taste of melted plastic with a taste of smoke, the heating stick in device is rather long, the plastic filter melts, and the tobacco is heated only from the middle and does not reach the edges.. This problem is at all temperatures in the device.. I like the design and easy of cleaning . but honestly the iqos 3 is better than this ismod ..

The media could not be loaded.  I've previously used all the IQOS devices and thought I'd try this as it had some good reviews. I like that it's an all-in-one device, so no need to keep charging the separate holder and placing back in its charger. Apart from that the actual experience is the same as IQOS and each Heet lasts roughly the same time. It's a bit fiddly to take apart to clean and I've attached a video of how it's done. One charge can just about last 2 days but I recommend charging at night so you can be sure it will last you the whole of the next day.

Works great but you have to be very careful taking your sticks out as the tobacco will often be stuck in the chamber. You have to do a stick then wait 5 minutes or so, let it cool down and then take it out.

I have a few different devices and find this is the one I use most often as the flavour I get from it is far superior to other devices.

It is just as good as the iqos but for a fraction of the price. I probably find this one better because it dose not time out after 14 puffs
