ArdellDuralash Naturals Combo Pack, Black, (Pack of 2)

These lashes are everything!
I’ve been wanting to get lash extensions, but it’s a pandemic and I’m not doing all that right now. So I got two of these Ardell combo packs, the black colored Ardell lashtite glue, lash cleansing foam for extensions, a lash comb with metal teeth, Ardell lash glue remover, and a bunch of other stuff (I ended up not needing.) Also a box of 1000 hour lash dye in black since I have blonde lashes.I dyed my eyelashes the night before. The next day, I cleaned my lashes using the lash foam cleanser. Combed my natural lashes out. Then I picked up a short lash with my tweezerman slanted tweezers and dipped the end in the black glue-just a tiny, tiny bit of glue. Don’t dunk the end in there-just barely graze the glue so that it’s on the tip. Waved it around a few times to get tacky and then applied it on the eyelash-not the eye skin. I didn’t put it on the very inside corner of my eye because I thought it would be uncomfortable. I just looked straight ahead and put the lash where my iris starts on the inside. I got as close to the root as I could. For this set, I used four shorts on the inside eye, and three mediums on the mid-outside, and then one long on the very outside. Then I put another layer of the same sizes right on top of them and in between where I needed to fill in spaces. It’s not perfect, but I’m happy for it to look like this on my very first time. I think it’ll get even easier and look better with more practice! It’s lasted three days so far and still going strong. I only had to fill in one lash.I read in an article (Byrdie I think) where she talked about using these lashes with lashtite. She said to just wait until they come off on their own-don’t try to pull them off. And if you must, make sure to use the glue remover.

Hard to use
I think the pack is worth the price. When I removed the lashes from their place. Even with small tweezers, the bent out of shape or ripped. Not sure if the glue used to stick them on was too strong.

lots of work but looked amazing
i used mostly small and med, with one large on the very outer corner. this is about one use, you need a few for fullness, plus youre gonna destroy a few trying to get them out. I used normal duo dark glue and they lasted about 3 days before i took them off, user tip: DONT WEAR MAKEUP, i watched a tutorial and she said do them after you finish your makeup. i had NO idea that i had clumps of dark glue all in my lashes because i had dark liner on, i didnt notice til i took my makeup off. now up to you if you wanna use clear glue or dark, if you use dark just be careful. individuals looks really good and natural but you need to be patience. id say instead of a combo pack but a med and small one, and then use those so you can get two or three uses from one pack.

didn't like them that much
I do my own semi permanent eyelashes at home, and usually I use the knotted ones but I thought I'd try them out. I found that these fell off much quicker, creased and got bent out of shape much more, and were overall harder to apply. When pulling them out of the package I ended up wasting way too many of them because when I would go to pull them out of the package with tweezers they would rip and fall apart. Overall, didn't like them that much, and I'm going to stick with the knotted ones. I was able to make them work, but it was more effort than it's worth. Only plus was the price.

Exactly as expected.
I bought these as an alternative option to the lash strips- turns out, I'm simply not skilled enough to do both eyes. Perhaps with practice. (It did take me quite a bit of practice to the the full strips down, so hand-eye coordination just might not be my thing) I did get one eye complete and it looked fantastic! The short lashes worked great on the inner eye, medium worked all the way out to the outer edge. The long were too long for my eye shape (slightly hooded eyes) but im sure you could trim them down to get use of all the lashes.I'll definitely keep working on the skill-level, but the quality is what you would expect from the brand. Natural looking and a soft black.

works great!
I simply cannot wear fake lashes, I have no idea why. I use all kinds of glue and after an hour or 2, they just start to fall off and someone would point out to me that my lashes are trying to run away... so, I thought I'd try these individual ones. I got them with the recommended glue and they work great! stayed on all night and the next day. after 2 showers, one or 2 would start to loosen up but I'd dab on more glue and they'd stay put. I must admit, the glue gets a little irritating but you get used to it after a while and honestly, I didn't mind at all because I finally have lashes! make sure you get the lashfree remover because this is like gorilla glue, it will not come off easily.

The best .. Because they all suck!!!
I've tried every other lash type!! Literally!! These stay on the longest !!I'd recommend only wearing the short lashes if you are a first tine user of doing them yourself !!use a tweezer when putting them on! And don't forget to get a magnifying mirror!, or you can see where the lashes are going and you'll end up looking crazy !!,DON'T forget to use the ardell black permanent glue!! It works best and after you use it a few times you'll learn that you only need to dip the tip quickly in the bottle and apply !And the Glue seems dark .... it will lighten !! but use very little and apply WITH your lashes... Not on top of them!!

Eh...
I buy Ardell products all the time. This combo pack just isn't for me and here's why: The short lashes are a plenty, and the longer ones are in short supply. What everyone wants is LONG lashes, because why bother falsies if you're not going for length? The short ones are just too short, basically useless and invisible once applied. I think if you're going to buy false lashes, get yourself a pack of (Ardell) ALL mediums and for extra drama, get a pack of longs. Ardell products are the best, just don't waste your time on a combo pack where you may or may not use some of the product that you paid for.

Amazing product
I used this with the Ardell individual glue and was great! They stayed on for weeks! Good quality lashes. Advised to use eyelash remover so doesn’t pull out your own lashes.

Nice enough, not that natural!
These are pretty good lashes. Nice length, nice curve, tapered ends. I don’t like how thick the knot is, it’s noticable in the lash line. It also makes the whole cluster a little heavy, so would work well for anyone with thick natural lashes, but might drop a bit on fine lashes. If you have thick natural lashes and want a fake lash effect them these are a good buy, but if you have finer lashes or want a natural look then go for ‘individual’ lashes in clusters of three. The product is fine, but not what I wanted.

Never been able to do false lashes till now!
So pleased. I used these with Revlon white glue and they sat in place immediately and stayed there. Could not believe it. Practically perfect 1st time. One eye is always harder than the other for me. I also don't layer them up. I'm just looking for a natural enhancement. Bit thicker bit longer so I found the long length too long for me but the short and medium used together were perfect. Think I used 6 small and 12 medium all together. Really recommend the Revlon glue but maybe get it in the black because it's stays a bit sticky I think it collects some make up over the days and I have to cover it with liquid eyeliner but they tend to last me a week sometimes I have to do a repair but I just gently slide off the wobbly one and a small blob of glue and wack it back on. I've had people trying not to stare at my lashes but it's always obvious. So I said to one sorry I've just put some lashes on today are they coming off? And they replied no! I just couldn't tell if they were real or not. Boom. Just what I wanted.

LOOK REALLY NICE!
I often try strip lashes when going out but hate them looking too fake and always find them a pain to apply so thought I would try these. They are fidley to start with but once I got the hang of it they look so lovely on. I only tried the medium & small so far.Hardly know you are wearing them.Would def buy again!

Lovely lashes
First time using individual lashes myself, and these paired with the ardell lashtite glue they have lasted perfectly for almost two weeks after paying £25+ for lashes similar to these I’m happy! I did use nearly the whole pack for the look I wanted but was well worth it they have lasted through a night out, tears and the uk weather! Have now purchased more! Haven’t tried to remove yet so can’t comment on that.
