AWAYTR Duck Goose Feather Trim Fringe 2 Yards (White)

The media could not be loaded. The feathers are gorgeous!! I did have to take out 3 feathers and replace them but that wasn’t really an issue. That’s out of the 3 packages I used. Already ordered more.

I used these to embellish the costume of a seagull in a middle school production of The Little Mermaid. The quality was outstanding. They were easy to work with, sew and did not shed. Highly recommend these!

Pros:- gorgeous, nice quality feathers- all well attached to the trim- great qualityCons:- I was trying to use my sewing machine to attach this for a school costume. There is some sort of extremely sticky adhesive *inside* of the trim that completely gummed up my sewing machine’s needle, and gave me tons of tension problems.- (VERY minor) The feathers are kind of at an angle. Depending on how you need to use the trim, this might be an issue or might not be.Tips:- you might want to hot glue this.- you cannot avoid the adhesive by staying on the very edge of the trim...it goes all the way through- you need a very sharp needle and powerful machine to use this for more than a few feet. My crafter-grade brother machine had difficulty with some of the feathers before the adhesive started to build up.- consider applying this with hot glue exclusively, or hand-basting it on.OVERALL: I would absolutely purchase this again. I was very happy with the purchase! I would just skip the machine application.

I've ordered 6 of these for a huge set of wings and I'm finding them to be very high quality- they're super soft and full. I ordered moonlight feathers but these are superior in all ways. These are consistently longer, pure white, full and healthy. The packages of Moonlight feathers I ordered where off-white and generally under sized. Each yard of this trim has at least one feather every half inch, making it nice and full.

These are great feathers if you want to add feather trim that is stiff and sturdy. There isn’t any movement to these. If you want movement, consider another trim.

These are truly high-quality feathers. I use them for a stainless steel sculpture project. But quite frankly, they could be used for anything, really. I highly recommend this product.
