Great for when you make your own RODI water and use 5 gallon jugs in a dispenser. They fit perfectly, and easy to keep clean. LOVE THEM!

These are great little dust caps to use for when you refill your own water bottles. They fit on easily, but so too will they easily come off. These are just for keeping dust and debris out of the bottle for transportation, rather than for keeping the contents in the bottle. These are well made (from silicon?) and feel like they will last a long time. They are simple in design and use, which is great for a cap! There were 4 in my kit, so I am going to keep 2 and give 2 to my neighbor, since we are all on well water and have to get our drinking water elsewhere (for taste). I'm not comfortable transporting with these lids as they are easy to slip on and off. I'm worried what might happen if the bottle tips over during transport. Not wanting to take the chance. They slip on and off easily making me worry that a tipped bottle and the force of the water might just pop the lid off. It does fit my 5 gal jugs, but not my 3 gal jugs. That's only because the opening on my 3 gal jugs are not the right size. They do not screw onto my 5 gal even thou they have grooves to do so. If they did screw on I might trust them for transport. All and all they are a good lid if you need a replacement. Just far warned I'm not sure about transporting with these.

While these fit my water bottles, I wouldn’t say they are especially snug, they may be a little too easy to come off, but I don’t really feel inclined to tip one of my full jugs to test it out. They just seem to pull off a little too easily. But it’s a lot nicer than the originals, those tend to hurt my thumbs quite a bit. These are definitely better but maybe they could be a little bit tighter.

This snaps right on our 5 gallon water jugs that we use at home. The water jugs to exchange are about 7 dollars, but to fill the jugs its under 2 dollars!! We have been carrying duct tape into the stores so we can fill and cover the water jugs. Now we can use these nice lids that fit right on. I'm not sure i would trust them if the water jug tipped but they are 5 gallons of water so that won't happen with normal driving. Another thing, we have to dump them over to attach to our water dispenser, so they will still have to be duct taped at home so I can flip them without spilling.
