Measure, Cut and Stick
It's pretty much that easy. Only additional step is to wet the window before adhering the film. More water makes it easier to adjust the fit. I used pieces of the amazon box as squeegees to push the water out to the sides. Only "gotcha" is keeping the film and the window dust free while putting it up. Any speck of dust will make a little bubble visible from the other side of the window. Probably easier in the house, but I was putting it in the garage. No fault of the film, just the nature of the beast. As long as it's still wet you can just peel the corner back and remove the speck and lay it down again.

Quick and Easy
I live in a colder environment and was a little concerned about the adhesiveness of the product. Quick fitting the cling on a cold window to make the cuts was a little bit of chore because the window was cold and of course the north side of the house doesn't get direct sunlight. But following the directions, the clings have been up for over a week in below freezing temps and they are not showing any sign of coming off. I would buy this product over and over if I would ever decide other windows would need to be done.

perfect privacy to the bathroom, t

Gives privacy while still letting in sunlight.
I used this film to give privacy for a clear replacement window I installed in the bathroom. Before installing the film you could see clearly into the bathroom. After installing the film, you could not see in the bathroom from the outside but natural light was able to come into the inside of the bathroom. This film did just what I needed it too. The only issue I had was getting the back to peel off of the film before applying.

Love this stuff--cuts UV/heating/cooling bill, and a classy degree of privacy
I've put window film on every window in every place I've lived for the past decade, and I'm convinced there is no better investment. Just don't be afraid to use plenty of lightly soapy water, and check it every five years or so. It cuts UV and therefore cooling costs; the film itself insulates surprisingly well to cut heating costs, and you get a dignified amount of privacy that still lets in a nice amount of natural light. I put it on a garage window that takes direct western light and also on our patio door to replace the 7-year-old film that served us well. Recommended.

WON'T STICK UNLESS YOU SEPARATE THE LAYERS AND PEEL!
WON'T STICK UNLESS YOU SEPARATE THE LAYERS AND PEEL! I was ready to burn this product. Assumed there was a layer to separate and peel but no matter what I did, there didn't appear to be any. Cut perfectly and fits perfect. Tried everything to keep this stuck to the window. Finally, started doing more research on maybe some sticky solutions. EVERYTHING says to separate and peel ~ gave the "peeling" another try. I used tape to try to get the edge to start at least. Not sure what was so difficult the first "62,000" attempts but - just got it easy peazy! 🤦♀️. Looks awesome now - easy to install once you get this step - be sure window is free of lint - spray water and voila' - squeegees air bubbles right out!
