Batsford Mixed Media Textile Art in Three Dimensions

From the crisp and lovely photos, to the clear and easily readable text (great fonts, great size, crisp and beautiful printing too), this book is a TREASURE. If only all art books were this lovely!It's clear that this author has worked with traditional and non-traditional media, and more importantly she expresses exactly how it 'works' in a focused and understandable way. Her work is stunning, and it's a real treat to be able to see and read through her process.This book is treasure! It's beautiful, clear, inspiring, all of the best things.

Another glorious Batsford book with as my friend calls it “a strokey cover”.At last the text is clear, not the arty pale grey unreadable variety.The photographs are large, also clear, precise.Although I don’t actually make sculptures, I do love reading about mixed media which I use in my large paintings.This one is a joy, a book to treasure, to pull out and focus on one chapter at a time, don’t rush it.

Arrived in a timely fashion and in the shape I expected it to be. Cool book with lots of great ideas.

Really liked the format of the book and layout of the pages. I like the fact that the artist provides her approach to her subject matter and sharing techniques related to creating unusual fibre art.

A fascinating book full of interesting and intriguing images. So glad I bought it!
