iFi Gryphon Case - Protect Your xDSD Gryphon with This Suede case

The nice aspects of this case are the feel of the suede, and it seems like it’d protect the gryphon well. However, its design needs to be improved. It is too long, which means the volume knob is hard to grasp without first cinching the case down a bit. The IEM switch is not accessible. The cutout for the Gryphon’s window does not align properly with the screen - it’s off by just a couple millimeters. But for such a well-designed amplifier, the case isn’t on par with that level of design. I hope the manufacturer cleans up the design in the future.

This is really difficult to believe... This case is not some after-market third party attempt - it is actually the original case made by iFi itself for its own (excellent) iFi Gryphon DAC/Amp... Yet, it is an utter failure that is just too difficult to believe - put it on and the case indeed protects it well but what about device usability?! - the volume knob of the Gryphon is recessed to minimize unintended volume changes, yet the case is not contoured accordingly and is flat covering also that volume knob, making it anything but minimally accessible or comfortable to use.

This will give great protection against drops.

This is a great case for my iFi Gryphon. I wish I would have gotten the case sooner. It protects the outside well and has a screen protector built in which is nice. The leather is good quality and it feels substantial like all iFi products.

Here we are again with another product designed by iFi that has come up short. There needs to be a 'notch' in the front portion of the case (at the top) that allows for the volume knob to be fully accessible. It seems like iFi designs and implements products without fully testing them. First it was the lack of Bluetooth functionality with the actual Gryphon itself, then it was an issue with how the firmware was downloaded and installed, then it was an issue with the volume just randomly increasing. They figured out all of those things and resolved them… and now they designed a case that misses the mark.Come on, iFi… figure it out man!

Artikel ist gut aber leider gefällt mir die Tatsache nicht, dass es durchgänging ist. Es gibt bessere alternativen, wo der Gryphon fest sitzt im case.

Hochwertig verarbeitet, lässt sich allerdings nur mit erheblichen Kraftaufwand über den Gryphon stülpen und wieder abzuziehen, es ist möglich aber schwierig und Zeit aufwendig.Das Case ist somit mehr oder weniger nutzlos was ich sehr schade finde, da es sehr Hochwertig verarbeitet ist.Habe mir dann das Material Case bestellt was ich sehr empfehlen kann .
