I have never heard of this brand before so I was really excited to try these 2 products. You will receive a mineral sunscreen SPF30 and an anti-pollution primer which is a quite nice face combo.The sunscreen is very lightweight and absorbs very quickly leaving your skin hydrated and with no white cast. Love that it doesn't make your face an oily mess but gives a nice radiant complexion. To be fair I prefer to apply sunscreens of SPF50 because I use quite strong actives in my skincare routine but I love this so much that it will be added to my morning routine.The primer is also great and it is specially formulated to protect your skin from daily pollution. I can't really tell if it protects my skin or not but I really like the consistency. It is very lightweight and hydrating. The formula is silicone-free and works to blur the look of pores for an even and smoother base. I think both products complement each other and work great for my skin.

I had not heard of Grown Alchemist before but they are an innovative brand who use an holistic approach to anti aging skincare. They have found that by using natural active ingredients in their products that skin health is improved and signs of ageing are reduced.There are two of their superhero products in their Save Face Kit, which are their award winning sunscreen and their popular primer. The sunscreen is SPF30, and I must admit in the summer or when on holiday abroad I need SPF50, but I will wear a low factor in the spring/autumn. The sunscreen has a really light feel, unlike those sunscreens you wear whereby you cannot wait to take it off. It absorbs easily into the skin and leaves a non greasy finish. It can also be used as a daily moisturiser.The primer is really good. It is another lightweight product and I love that you don’t have to wait an age before you apply makeup. It has a gel-like texture which is really cooling which I like. As well as creating a base for makeup, it is also designed to blur wrinkles and pores so it is quite a multitasker. It gives a matte finish and even if you are not wearing makeup it makes your skin look more even and less shiny.I would say the star of his particular show for me is the primer. It was one of the best I have used and I liked both the way it felt on my skin and the way it prepped it ready for makeup. The sunscreen was good but I would have preferred SPF50. I would definitely get the primer again and would probably get the sunscreen if it was SPF50. These are not cheap products, but there seems to be a lot of thought gone into them.

This cream felt awful on my skin. It dragged across was not easy to rub in. The primer was brown and quite yucky!!!

Lovely face cream set.The smell is delicious.The creams apply well.This set is ideal for taking with you when travelling.Love, love this set.

The grown alchemist save face kit has a really nice and natural smell. The anti-pollution primer has a little bit of oil-based texture. It is very easy spread and can be absorbed quickly. I don't feel oily after using it at all. It can be a great base or a primer before makeup. I quite like the natural hydrating sunscreen SPF 30 as it contains natural zinc oxide. Good natural combo for protecting your face from pollution or UV.

This set of two 50ml products comes in a white presentation box. The primer is in a very light pinkish white tube, and the suncream is in a yellow tube, which is a little confusing seeing as the primer is actually yellow in colour and the suncream is white.I found the suncream to be quite heavy, especially considering it's only factor 30 rather than 50. It feels a bit greasy and takes a while to absorb, leaving a slight white cast which isn't great seeing as it's on the face. It doesn't spread well either. However, once applied it provides good protection and skin feels moisturised.The primer is the better of the two products for me. It has a gel-like consistency and a not very attractive yellowish shade, but it gives a good matte finish and it blurs pores and imperfections. It works well with the suncream, taking away the shine, and provides a smooth base for make-up.I would possibly buy the primer again, but not the suncream, so 3 stars for the set.

I had high hopes for this.The spf is an absolute cow to absorb. I am very pale, if you had any colour in your skin at all, this would leave a horrible white cast. I used 2 fingers, as advised by all dermatologists for your face. It just took too long to apply.The primer is horrible, it is like applying vaseline to your face.I tried both twice and then one at a time. I can't face using either again.I do not recommend

Though I'd not heard of Grown Alchemist before, when I saw that this brand is Australian and that this pair of products is designed to protect facial skin from the sun's rays I was confident these would be likely to work well. Australia is understandably rather further forward than most countries in both treating the effects of over exposure to sun and in preventing sun damage.The minimalist, recyclable card packaging of this Save Face Kit has a high end feel. And I'm finding the products work in perfect synergy with each other. There are two tubes in the pack - the yellow one houses the SPF30 facial sunscreen and the pink one contains the Anti-Pollution Primer.The sunscreen, with an expiry date of 09/24 on the pack I received, is a little thick and on initial application seemed a bit greasy. As it contains zinc oxide, this is reckoned to be particularly effective at shielding facial skin from the sun. And I found that applying the primer over it and before make-up - if you're wearing it - makes the apparent greasiness disappear. It leaves my face feeling hydrated and it's good to know it's well protected too.Perhaps surprisingly, the sizes of the two tubes aren't all that apparent from the listing. Each tube contains 50ml of product and they should be used within 12 months of opening. Good products, perfect together and a pleasure to use. But the price is likely to be a drawback for many.
