Everything I expected
First serious pyrography kit I got (after three cheaper pens) and I'm loving what it can do for me, esp. making my own tips with the coil of wire it came with. Thank you Peter Child/Robert Sorby

Buy this machine!
I bought this machine to create pyrographic designs on the covers of my wooden books. I have a leisure industries machine and had become tired of replacing broken tips that were very expensive. I was attracted by the fact one can easily make your own tips. That should save lots of money.Although I have used this machine only a short time, I like it so well I just had to tell everyone that this is great. I can draw with it just like a pencil. I can easily shade and just do anything.I am adding a doodle I did just out of the box to try it out one tip and on 1. Amazing little box.

Easy to use
This is my 3rd burner. I have 2 others (professional grade) and each one does a different type of burn. The pen is not the same as the photo. It is very clunky and heavier. It burns hot, but have not been able to use other nibs. The thin wires are the only ones that work with this burner.

Excellent machine
My experience up to this point involved a one-temp pencil style wood burning kit. This machine easily surpasses my abilities. Being able to make your own points out of the included wire was very helpful as I needed some large coils for large letters. I am very happy with my purchase

Can make custom wire nibs with this unit.
Excellent unit for the novice and expert alike. Heats up within seconds, handle does not overheat and the pen style is exceptionally easy on the hands.
