Genuine G.I. 3 Piece 1 Quart Plastic Canteen (Coyote Brown)

Got exactly what I ordered and there is no defaults. Would recommend to anyone

No weird smell, no leaking, pretty good and solid piece. Kinda funny they left the price tag on it, it was originally $7.99 haha. Guess they gotta make their money somewhere. Would defiantly recommend to anyone who needs a solid piece to help carry their water.

I like this canteen. My old one cracked the cap. This canteen has been used heavily and has yet to break after 2 years of use.

It leaks terribly, too late for a refund.I hope the seller will exchange it.Update: exchanged, works well now

These don't have the stupid CBRN top which collects junk and is impossible to clean. If you're required to have GI 1 qt canteens, go with these. If you're not, just get a regular water bottle, nerd.

Like everything I've bought from Rothco this product is very good quality. The canteen has thick walls so it is very durable and the cap seal is excellent - no leaks. I like the GI canteen, this is my second (first one is still in use with no issues) and I especially like that it fits inside the metal GI canteen cup. It's very convenient since you can cook in the canteen cup and it fits inside my canteen pouch around my canteen. Additionally, since the plastic canteen fits inside the heavy metal canteen cup, it serves as additional protection for the canteen; for instance if you fall on a rock or a sharp pointy object. I recommend this product.

Not recommended for camping. Cheaply made, sharp mouth piece.

パッキンが無いので水が漏れます。ホームセンターで水道用のパッキンを入れれば、水漏れがなくなります。

見た目が大分カッコ良いが蓋をかなりしっかりしめないとすぐ漏れます。しっかり閉めたつもりでも漏れてしまうことがあるため、湯たんぽにするときやバッグに入れる時はかなり気を使います。

まず、心しておかなければならないことが１つあります。それは、この商品が輸入雑貨として輸入された “ 軍用キャンティーン ” 、つまりインテリア雑貨（早い話が、飾り物）だということです。インターネットのページのどこにも、これが “ 水筒 ” であるとは書いてありません。つまり、この商品を購入した人は、自分でこの商品を “ 軍用水筒 ” にしなければ、水筒としてアウトドアフィールドで使用できないということです。“ 軍用キャンティーン ” を “ 軍用水筒 ” に変更するのは簡単です。キャップの裏にパッキンをはめ込むだけでＯＫです。これだけで水漏れは皆無となります。では、そのパッキンはどうやって入手するのか。これも簡単です。スーパーやお酒を扱うドラッグストアなどへ行って、200円前後で売っている200ml〜220mlの焼酎（プラスチック製の透明な筒状の小瓶に入ったもの）を買います。必要なのは焼酎ではなく、プラスチック製のフタの裏のパッキンです。このままでは大き過ぎる（直径が47mmほどあります）ので、直径35mmの真円状のパッキンに加工します。まず、厚紙の上に文具のコンパスで直径35mmの円を描きます。それを丸くカットして型紙とし、パッキンの上に置いて、細い油性マジック等で外周に沿って線を描きます。その線に沿ってパッキンをカットすれば、水筒用パッキンの出来上がりです。このパッキンをキャンティーンのキャップの裏にはめ込めば、 “ 軍用キャンティーン ” が “ 軍用水筒 ”に変わります。キャンティーン本体側のバリなども、インテリア雑貨だからそのままなのだと思い、自分でカッターの刃先などで慎重に削り、仕上げに耐水ペーパー等で磨いてみてください。この商品は、キャップも本体も MADE IN USA です。MADE IN CHINA の、パクリもんのキャンティーンなんぞとは、材質も成型（プレス）も全然違います。また、サイズも微妙に違います。私は、MADE IN USA の刻印を見ただけで、感動のあまり思わず星を５つ入れようとしましたが、「やっぱり、パッキンは欲しいよねぇ……」と思い、評価を星４つとしました。個人的には、コヨーテブラウンは大好きな色です。

某雑誌で推薦されていたので購入。いざ、キャンプに持っていこうと試しに水を入れたら、漏れました。アマゾンのレビューにも、多数「漏れる」の情報が…。購入前に良く確認すれば良かった。せっかくの冬キャン。期待を削がれました。

耐久性は問題なしです。ただトゲドゲしてるところが多いのと、蓋が閉めづらい（汗）利便性ではブッシュクラフトのほうがよいかと。見た目は結構かっこいいです！
