The time is kept good for me but the crown pushes out a lot stopping the time

Yes very well built watch, quite pleased with it's sturdiness.

Does it have a sapphire crystal?

Yes it does, and no scratches after many hours of use. As an added positive note it keeps really excellent time. I have worn it over three months now without resetting it and it has not lost even 1 second. I hope if you buy this watch you find it as reliable as I have. By the way I collect watches.

Does the stanless steel have a brushed or polished finish?

Most surfaces appea brushed, although some of the edges are polished. Same on the band. Looks good. Band is comfortable.
