For anyone who prefers their protein powder on the sweeter side, this is a great value option that mixes well and tastes great (in my opinion, at least). There's a noticable soy taste (it's soy protein, duh) and the taste of vanilla is apparent but definitely harder to find under the sweetness. It mixes very easily into water or milk/milk replacement of your choice. The powder is fine and doesn't clump much when mixed, the protein content is good, the added B vitamins and minerals are great since I'm on a medication that depletes B12 and my diet isn't terribly varied. More importantly, I'm now eagerly waiting on a restock of the 2.2kg bags of raspberry cheesecake flavour... UPDATE: I did notice before I ordered that there are quite a few people who have issues with clumping and the way I work around clumping with any protein powder is to tap the scoop and "shake" the powder into my glass so that it doesn't go in as a compacted scoop. I find that if it's compacted, it won't be able to absorb the fluid as easily and is more prone to clumping. When I have a scoop of this in a glass of milk with some creatine I shake it into my glass and then stir it gently with a whisk as I'm adding my milk and then whisk it vigorously for about 20 seconds after I'm done to make sure that it's all broken up and dissolved into the milk. Gets me a smooth protein drink every time and helps my morning can of sardines go down a treat :P For applications where a blender is involved, this method is not necessary, but I would still recommend blending for a few minutes and pulsing it a few times for good measure to make sure that all of your ingredients are thoroughly mixed together. I've tried maybe four or five different protein powders over the years but this one has been the best tasting and most consistent one of the bunch.

Purchased this protein for years. Will not purchase again. Last 2 orders the protein is completely different. Doesn’t mix well, watery and foamy tastes sour & make you feel sick. This used to be such a good protein.

Really like the taste of this and the fact it has high amount of protein .The price is good compared to lots of other powders and sugar content low too.I personally add it to my porridge for a lovely creamy vanilla taste and to boost my protein intake in the morning.

A good vegan protein, it is a different recipe than can be brought in some stores so flavour isn’t the best vanilla flavour around, but it’s fine for what we use it for. Great in shakes, not grainy. Also great to use in baking.

By far the best protein powder ive tried. Have it in my morning shake with creatine and coffee and is easy to drink. Sometimes mixes well but i just add a bit of water to the end to dissovle the rest. Sets me up for the day

Nice I use 90g a day need to up my protein whilst on a vegan diet ABIT floaty but one of my fave go to.. I rather it be 50p a shake than 70 80p but still great I will keep an eye out for sales and buy in bulk either way still worth it :) one of the best out there ... They lowers the protein slightly and upped the price.. but it's a premium quality product that I just adore I make smoothies shakes and put in coffee fast dispatch

Agree with some of the other reviewers here, the original sci -mx vgain in the blue and red packaging was 10/10 for great taste, smooth mixing and nutrition value I used the old product solidly for 10 years and loved it, I recently recieved the new (updated) version and thought it was a mistake until I read some of the reviews. The "updated" version is a vastly inferior product. Taste is worse for me, seems slightly greasy, it clumps a lot. The packaging is awful it won’t seal so there’s no way to keep air from making the product go off. Overall this product is a big disappointment!!

Very disappointing taste change from prior purchase of the same item. Not sure what changed in the component formulation, but drinking the new version is unpleasant, so have to mix in other ingredient like cocoa to mask the new taste.
