Well constructed and sturdy

I'm in law enforceent and use this daily. Works fine for forms and such. Would imagine any sales or other job could use it. I like that it's thin and can hold one notebook of forms and either another in storage or pens and my tablet. Good product

The compartment in the back is 3/8" deep, which is plenty of room to hold my important paperwork (blank invoice forms, inventory sheets, procedural instruction sheets, etc.) The top cover flap can be manipulated to use with carbon copy forms, to avoid ruining any separate forms behind it. Pretty tough construction too. I've been using it for about a month now and there are only a couple minor scratches on the back where the gray paint has come off, but this should hold up a lot longer than any of the plastic clipboards with storage you can buy. Gotta be careful though, for the corners are a bit pointy. They should make them rounded to prevent injury or scraping up of your car seat if you toss in the car carelessly.Also, I usually clip a pen onto the spring clip that holds my steno pad in place, but it tends to interfere with being able to flip the cover up out of the way. Some of these Saunders products have a pen storage compartment, but I wish on this particular product that they had a better way to attach a pen. Shouldn't be too hard for me to modify it with some sort of gizmo to solve that issue.

I've lost 2 fuel receipts in the last couple months and Miss Donna says I'll be paying for any future lost reciepts out of my check.Good quality without being too heavy. I push linen carts around factory floors while picking up dirty PPE and I have to carry my clipboard with me. It's not too bulky to carry and still use the hand that carries it.

I am an HVAC technician, and use this on the job to record my hours and fill out job sheets.The design is quite nice because of the 'compartments' on this thing. You can keep extra sheets in the back cavity, filled out sheets can be secured in the middle, and then your current sheet clipped on top to write on.Reason this isn't 5 Stars:-Not super-sturdy. Its made out of aluminum, but quite thin. To me the thing feels flimsy - I'm sure it will last a while, but I would prefer a little more heft.-A minor point, but the clip that locks in the current sheet of paper is aligned a little weird. When you have a new sheet of paper and try to slide it into the jaws, it will hit the bottom jaw. Therefore every time a new sheet is to be inserted, you have to start it in yourself. As I said a minor point, but it is an inconvenience.Still is a good product, and I will continue using until I find one that's better made.**UPDATE**After using this almost every day for over 5 years, I've bumped it up to 5 stars.Although skeptical at first about it's long-term use, I have to say it has held up admirably.

So, initially my husband planned on returning it. He was not aware of the "teeth" on the clip. This cuts into the paper. Anyway, he changed his mind and is now using it. It does the job.

This was purchased for our Facility Supervisor, and it has been put to use since the day we received it. He was using this morning to check out the main office and record deficiencies, and do the monthly walk through. Would order again.

Great product

Ok product. Not as good as my previous Clip Board Form Holder. When the top is flipped closed it leaves a space at the hinges which does not protect the enclosed forms/papers from weather. Not sure why they would have designed something like this. My previous unit did an excellent job of enclosing and protecting the paper under the flip top.
