Professional Kitchen & Cooking Tweezers/Tongs 12" Stainless Steel Multi-Use

Don't use these for cooking, but they are great. 4 sewing and arts and crafts. Hard to find Really long tweezers. For this purpose.

Update (9/15/22): Found the inside edges a bit sharp, so ran a flat file over to take the edge off; reducing 1-star for that defect, 4-stars overall.Summary: When I saw these I didn't think the offset ones would be of much use. Once we got them, my wife said she probably wouldn't use them, so I decided I would take them to work. I was able to use the offset ones for all kinds of work related tasks, like picking up tiny screws, manipulating hot items (on a 3-D printer). The construction is great and there’s two in the set, one with a pointy and one with a rounded tip. I’m struggling a bit to figure out when to use them though. I actually bought to pick off stray bones in my salmon steaks from the market, but they’re too big for that. I’m sure I will find a use for these soon! I feel it’s one of those items i never know i need it until I do need it!

I haven't really looked at the length of the tweezers when I ordered, so I thought this would be shorter. But it is long; 12". It is similar length with tongs that you usually use in kitchen. I use this as a substitute and complement to tongs. This one is much better when cooking pasta. It is easy to stir the pasta and plate the pasta. Also, it is useful when grilling small pieces of meat. Compared to tongs, this gives much precise control. Tongs would have more strength, but it is much better to control with these tweezers. There are two tweezers included, one with wider ending and one with more sharp ending. Both works great.

Whenever I pan fry bacon, stir fry steak, or grill shrimp, I sometimes struggle with flipping the meat. I've been using chopsticks but the tips are easily burnt and difficult to clean. My usual stainless steel stongs are too large and don't grip nearly as well. So when I saw these 12" stainless steel cooking tweezers, I had to give them a shot.In usage, the 12" length is pretty perfect for me. It's not too far that I have poor control but it's long enough to keep me out of splattering oil's reach. The tweezers are light and balanced and very easy to use. The stainless steel quality looks decent and should hold up to regular use. It's easy to clean and doesn't really stain or burn from use. I like to joke with my family that I feel like a professional chef with how easily I can flip foods with these tweezers.

Overall, works as it should. It is very sturdy. It had a few blemishes/discoloration, but I can overlook that. Great tool for decorating and placing small items on cupcakes and cakes.

Me gustó el tamaño, y que me sirvieron mucho para manipular alimentos de diversos tamaños, no muy pesados.Estoy muy satisfecha con la comprá.No les doy 5 estrellas porque el material, aunque al parecer es acero inoxidable, me da la impresión que con el uso pudieran oxidarse, espero equivocarme.
