Excellent Laptop
Overall, the laptop was easy to set up. It obviously has the typical "Microsoft Windows" control features that can be irritating. It comes in the "S" mode which is far easier to exit that it used to be (in "S" mode, one can only run "MIcrosoft Approved" applications which really limits choices of some types of software). Windows 11 limits some things during setup (complicates selecting a computer "user" name, etc.). Overall though, I was really impressed with the computer; it is quick to boot up and functions well. Highly recommend.

A good laptop for everyday use.
Been using this laptop for a month now and it's worked well and does everything one expects from a laptop. Much lighter than my last 17 inch laptop. This is not a touch screen which is fine for my use.Only wish there was a way to increase the icon size to somewhere in between medium and large. No a major issue.

What exactly is this?
Firstly, it arrived on time, well packaged, no damage. PCMover couldn't cope with the setup so I set it up myself. The reason for the heading of this review is that I have no idea what model this is. It's just described as '2022 Newest 17 laptop' Is it a 'Premium'? That makes it a bit of a guessing game to buy a replacement power cord and charger for it.Battery life is not as stated. I simply use the laptop for Office Word & Excel, email, web browsing, etc. No gaming, watching videos, or anything else that could use up power. Max. battery life I've experienced is about 5 hours. So far I've been in places where I can keep the charger plugged in, but.....It's heavy! Stated weight is 4.6 lbs, and you can certainly feel every oz of that when you've been carrying it around for few hours. I should have gone with a lighter model.I have Microsoft 365 licence, and it was a pain setting it up/sharing it to this laptop. As other reviewers have noted, grey lettering on 'silver' background makes it hard to read the top and bottom row of keys, and I've had to mark where the Power button is as it's hard to find in poor light or without looking directly at it.I was expecting a backlit keyboard, but maybe I misread the description. It was easy to connect a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse - I hate keypads. BTW, the keypad is extremely sensitive, and will respond even when your wrist or hand is an inch or so away. Annoying as you have to maintain an uncomfortable position to avoid that. A separate wrist support bar would fix this. The opening gap between the screen and keyboard is a bit hard to locate and open as there's very little space to get anything more than a fingernail in.On the other hand, this was a lifesaver when I had to work away from home in Europe, a simple adaptor plug was all I needed. I could connect an external SSD with my working files easily and the read/write time was very good. The keyboard is positive and feels good to use and in spite of my minor gripes, it's a great laptop for the price.

DO NOT BUY HP 2022 17.3 Laptop!!! Bought it Twice, Both Had Fatal Errors!
I buy almost everything through Amazon, but hardly ever write a review. But I had to as this is just ridiculous!I bought this laptop and was so excited...I had been using an Acer Chromebook, so you can imagine! I got it all set up and running, it's fast, pretty, etc. But within 1 day I get an urgent notice that it can't find the Optane Memory and get the 'blue screen of death' shutdown. I called HP, the guy helped me fix it, so I thought, OK. Then got a few more 'blue screens of death' called again, guy helped me solve those issues. The NEXT day I get a fatal error that the fan isn't working and I cannot start the machine without risk of a permanent failure. So I sent it back to Amazon (still waiting on notice it's been received, even though I have FedEx proof it was delivered 5 days ago, but that's another story!).I then repurchased this same laptop, because I liked it and it had lots of the features I wanted. I thought I had just gotten a lemon. So I wait 3 days, get it, go through the set up again, start using it, the next morning....you guessed it, blue screen of death, saying it can't find my optane memory (which isn't even installed on the machine, you'd think HP would solve this issue and remove the diagnostic tool looking for it!), I thought, OK, gotta call HP again, but waited and got three more shutdown notices. Called today, and the support people can't even open my computer, it sees no boot device and will not allow them to get past the blue screen of death! Guy says, you'll have to send it in for repair, I said, it's only 4 days old!!!!!!!!!!! NO THANKS, I'm returning it and WILL NOT buy another HP product. So beware, if you want to spend hours on the phone with India and support, and ultimately not have a working computer within a week, then buy this, but if not, avoid it at all costs.

Excellent Laptop
This laptop is everything a person needs in a computer just for home use. Good battery life, lightweight, good size screen, and easy to setup and use. This laptop is for my wife, and she likes it better than the desktop computer that she had for years. No complaints whatsoever, and at a good price.

ConputersUSA and HP
When I bought this computer, it was supposed to have Windows 11+. When I received it, it had Windows 10 Home. So I upgraded the computer to Windows 11 Home at 151 dollars. The battery was dead. I had to buy a battery at a cost of about 23 dollars, which I installed myself. So be careful when you buy from ComputersUSA.As far as HP is concerned, this is a quality machine. You can just see the quality. It works wonderfully. I am now a big fan of HP.

AWSOME
Easiest set-up ever, Cortana did everything, except for the passwords. Amazon description was not 100% accurate, the laptop I received was better than described, It had 3 USB ports & a SD reader a big plus for me. Its very fast & the 17" screen is the best I've ever seen. This LT is by far the nicest one I ever had.

Very nice large laptop!
Just what I needed and ordered, and faster than I anticipated. Would be nice to have an illuminated keyboard. Only gave it 4 stars for Battery Life because it hasn't been tested yet.
