American Girl - McKenna, Ready to Fly! Paperback Book

I like to read the customer reviews before I spend my kindle money on a book so this is a review to do that.McKenna gets her cast of so she can train like normal in gymnastics again. Also, Jose, her touter, joins a riding center for kids with disabilities. McKenna wants to volunteer at the center but with the gymnastics competition so close and just getting her cast of will make it hard. What is going to happen next? Will McKenna be able to volunteer at the center and make the competition? Read to find out!I made the right choice to choose this book. It is full of great lessons. And at the end with the story's of the real girls it can inspire you to change the world.

The book tells the story of a talented gymnast who has to cope with not performing as well in academics. She is "tutored" by a young schoolmate who is unable to walk and uses a wheelchair. What she learns would be valuable to ANY child who struggles with academics, and presents a child with a physical problem as a whole person, not someone to be either pitied or victimized. Excellent reading. Get both books for the full story. For girls 6-12 yrs.

Well I just think of one thing I thought it well............. was AWESOME! I also think that I the first place in order to make it a little bit more about McKenna you should shorten the characters a little. But the rest of the book was great!

My 6 year old niece loves it. My like the story it has a teaching that life is about balance and helping others.

I really liked this book because it was really hard to put down.I am so glad I read this book in the summer because if I read it during the year l might fall asleep during math class:( (don't want that to happen)I hope l made you really want to read this book!!!!!!! -Grace Zarnowiecki

love this book I have done gymnastics since I was 3 but when I broke my leg in kindergarten I thought it was the end of the world cause I couldn't do gymnastics or soccer for 8 months and when I was supposed to get my cast of was the day before my vacation but luckily it came of a week early

This book is my favorite book in the American Girl series. After I got my American Girl doll McKenna, I wanted to do gymnastics just like she did, but after my knee problem that started last year, I had to quit. But I still enjoy cheering my friends on!

This is an awesome book!!!!! It's a great story about friendship and working together to achieve goals that you can't put down and anyone can benefit from!!!! These girls had to quit arguing and get along and in the end all of them had great achievements! I would recommend this book to any girl ages 8-12.

My 8 year old daughter who is gymnastics crazy absolutely loved this book. She couldn't put it down.
