I have been a proponent of alternative medicine and started taking supplements about 20 years ago. For about the past 12 years I have had trouble with frequent headaches, often debilitating and making me unable to do normal daily routines. Shortly after I began taking this supplement, I noticed that I rarely got a headache anymore, and the headaches I would still get were much less severe. When I try different supplements, I do so one at a time so that there will be no question as to effectiveness. I can say with honesty and certainty that this supplement has diminshed my headaches by 90%! I also seem to have better overall cardiovascular health, although that may also be attrbuted to the Ginko Biloba, Fish Oil, and Coenzyme Q10 I also started taking. What I also like about this product is that there are many other beneficial ingredients, but that also means you are getting less pycnogenol than a straight supplement. I take one caplet twice a day and, if I could afford to, I would take a total of 3 or 4 caplets per day. It does help to have the great Amazon discount, and I highly recommend this product.

I am currently 65, and I have been taking this particular supplement for over ten years and I am not a person of medical background, but I would attribute my low blood pressure to this product. From what I read about pycnogenols, I interpret that they're supposed to like "cleanse" the blood vessel, so I take them to avoid excess fat buildup in the blood vessels. If I live beyond my expected age and I don't know what day it is, I guess you could say the pycnogenols worked, uh? And, I do not need blood pressure medication.

I have been taking pycnogenol for years and it is really the only supplement out of many i have researched and taken that I've noticed significant positive effects, such as increased concentration, increased energy, and decreased joint and leg pain. However, something in this formulation makes my stomach hurt, something I've never experienced with any other supplement, and it also made my husband's stomach hurt. The complex seemed useful, but i'm going to have to go back to plain pycnogenol.

I made an error in what I ordered as it was difficult to determine from the picture and information given if this Source Naturals was the one I had previously ordered -- and it was not.

This is one of the best antioxidant I have ever used. Have been using this product for years and no one can guess my age. Also, the complex has some good herbal stuff that’s good for your heart.

I started to take this per a suggestion from my OB/GYN for my joint pain, endometriosis and for the pain associated with that. I have taken this for less than a month now and it has worked wonders for me. I used to take 2400mg of Ibu. everyday for my pain and at times a narcotic. Since starting this I have not taken either, my pain is less from the endometriosis, at a more manageable state. I used to get hot flashes, I no longer do and actually get cold again. This has been my miracle pill, this pill has made it so that I do not have to get a hysterectomy now.
