Just what I needed
I haven't even finished this book yet and am already overjoyed at what I've read. Simply reading the chapter titles made obvious to me that this would be a valuable book. I cannot express how comforting it is to read advice from not just any author but one who is facing the same problems I am in living with a chronic illness. Knowing this about the author, I would have easily taken her at her own words simply based on her own experiences, yet she not only includes her own insights and the situations of others like us but fills every lesson with the best source of wisdom we could glean from--the Bible. I am sure that doing this book in a group study would be very beneficial, but I am reading through it on my own and plan to go back through it more than once, getting every bit of encouragement I can from it and its other Source.

Highest recommendation!
Tiny, little booklet that packs a powerful punch! Excellent for individual study or for small groups. I used it for both. Highly recommended!

Not as good as I expected it to be.
Hard to get into. Not very impressed. It had a lot of potential, but I am still looking for a better study for my group.

When Cronic Illness Enters Your Life
The author of this book is a person with Chronic illness and she knows from where she speaks it is helpful to know that you are not alone. It was a great effort I am sure for her to write this book and it is so helpful for those of us that have to deal with chronic illnesses everyday. I also suggest the book, "Just Fine"by Carol Sveilich,MA I like that book, too because it has pictures of people with chronic illness and what they have to say about it. There is other good info in it as well. If you are new to chronic illness I'd start with Lisa's book.

Must read
This book turns you to the Word of God, the only place for true answers when you are in excruciating pain and angry at God. The author is real and understands the feelings of those in chronic pain, yet she also understands where to find the answers. This would be great as an individual and group Bible study. I highly recommend it.

Many Better Books out there on Subject.
I also am chronically ill, purchased this book and it's companion to use in Bible Studies. I never used them. Found the chapters repetitive and fairly self serving. I'd recommend "You Gotta Keep Dancin'" By Tim Hansel.
