Somewhat easy to use. Hardest part is getting sick in the cone but slides over foot easily

I just had hip surgery and this created a problem with putting on my socks due to bending restrictions. I'm currently using a compression/athletic sock, so they are tight to put on. I found this device works very well at doing the intended job. When pulling the sock up, just go slowly for best results. Well worth the price.

They were nice and did replace my first 2, because back splits when using compression sock! The 3rd one was suppose to be a better plastic , but it to has now split! Going to have to find diferent brand even they do replace it can not keep up the pace! By the way they are rated according to web site for compression socks!

My husband is 6'3" size 14 shoe. He said there is more room for his foot and the round handles are better.He said this upgraded style is by far the best he's ever used

This one works. I read the other reviews before I bought this and I really like tomorrow send it yet and give it five stars which I also give it five stars I wish it had a clip on the end of it so I could pull my sock up higher, but just wanna works good And complain. Thank you for improving this one.

Let me start out by saying that I have purchased several sock aids to help me put socks on my feet due to a bad hip. Most sock aids are made from molded plastic and built like a 4 inch PVC pipe that is cut in half length-wise. They drill a couple of holes to loops some rope through one end and then glue black foam on the outside of the other end which is intended to hold the sock in place until you get it on your foot. Eventually the black foam wears off and the sock just slips off of the PVC half pipe. I have also purchased other sock aids that are made of nylon and terry cloth that fold in half. I thought those might work better but these type of sock aids did not work for me at all. I struggled to get the sock on them and then to get them to unfold so that I could put my foot in and get the socks on my feet.This sock aid is not built like that at all. It is made of molded plastic, similar to the others but instead of just being a half-pipe, the far end is cut in a concave fashion so that your heel will come into the sock and the sides of the sock aid are winged out and extend down your leg continuing to hold the sock open so that the sock will come up the side of your leg and not bunch at your ankle like it tends to do with the other sock aids I have purchased.This sock aid also has ridges on the inside that help you foot slide easily and not get stuck to the molded plastic. Additionally, instead of black foam this aid has a hard rubber pad that keeps the sock on the aid until you can get it onto your foot. This is a lot better than the black foam. It does not appear to me that it will decay and lose its effectiveness like the other aids have done.The handles have rubber balls that the rope handle passes through. It makes it so easy to grab and provide leverage to get your sock on your feet. A lot better than the foam rubber tubes that are on the other sock aids.I am just so impressed with this sock aid. I do not feel like I need to strategically plan how to put my socks on every morning like I did with the other sock aids. Someone put a lot of thought into this device. It really shows. It has my highest recommendation.

I had a sock aid--the standard white one--that I got years ago when having my hips replaced. Since then, I have had to wear compression socks at somewhat high compression. THE OLD REGULAR WHITE SOCK AID I had caused a real problem. When you pulled the sock onto it, it collapsed the front end of the sock aid (pulled it in so it became narrower), and what would happen is when I put my foot into it and pulled the aid up, the OLD REGULAR SOCK AID came up my leg with the sock (it stayed in the sock), it was painful and I couldn't get it out from behind my sock as it was stuck against my leg all the way past my heel. I had to get my husband to carefully get it out from behind the sock. I got scared as that happened twice. AND THEN I FOUND THIS ONE! SOMEONE KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING WHEN THEY DESIGNED THIS ONE. IT IS A LITTLE WIDER AND BECAUSE THERE IS A CUTOUT, WHEN YOU PULL THE SOCK UP IT AUTOMATICALLY RELEASES FROM YOUR HEEL PREVENTING IT FROM COMING UP INSIDE OF THE SOCK UP THE LEG AND GETTING STUCK BETWEEN YOUR LEG AND THE SOCK. I cannot tell you how many sock aids I've been through in the last several months, BUT THIS IS THE ONE TO GET--NOT "the standard white one."!!!!

What a great product! It is very sturdy and so easy to use. Well worth the money. I had a different which was more expensive but not as steardy as this one. This one was cheaper as well. Great product!
