Arhat Yoga: A Complete Description of the Spiritual Pathway to the Sambhogakaya Yoga Attainment

This book has so much information it’s a little daunting but once we have time in our ADD world to lay down and open its pages we enter, The Bodri Zone. It’s really a trip to read any of this author’s books and every time I wonder how can he possibly top His last!?But no surprise, he does! There is very deep information about the Avatamsaka Sutra, which is explained in a way that is easier to understand than reading the sutra by itself. He gives kind of like his own commentary on it, pretty amazing stuff; very sci-fi almost.The main part I love is the part about controlling our consciousness so that we have the experiences that are best for us instead of just having a blank mind, or “no-thoughts,” or just not having the greatest of experiences in life due to no clear direction. He really gives great details about this aspect of cultivation which is rarely ever discussed anywhere else with such clear and precise language including plenty of examples.I definitely urge everyone to put down their ADD for a few hours and enter the BodriZone with this gem of a book. You will find something you love now and things that might make sense another time. Taking Bodri’s books in small doses is always wise; don’t try to finish the book without really getting anything from it like you wouldn’t eat food fast just to say you ate it. As with his other great books, Bill distills so much of the esoteric traditions down into a deep, yet accessible blueprint for understanding and supporting the spiritual awakening process. For some reason, much of this information is not available in mainstream spiritual books. That's why it's such essential reading. It will help you make sense of all the physical changes, sensations, and visions so that you work WITH the process, and not against it. I consider essential reading for anyone committed to the enlightenment path.

This book improved my understanding of enlightenment. Bill does a great job of breaking things down to be easily digestible. Many cultivation/meditation books are unclear and esoteric, Bill did a great job of avoiding that. Thank you!
