It absolutely does the job and transformed my Barista Express's grinder into zero-retention grinder. I also like that I recovered some space near the hopper, as stock one is wider. It's not a must-have, but it improved my workflow just that one bit. And in my opinion it looks better than the stock hopper.

Installation was really simple, and I now get practically zero retention!It ia a very simple but clever design.I like that it also takes less space than the original bean hopper.I wish it wouldn't be 3d printed though.

The device works ! Drop in X grams of coffee beans and X grams of ground coffee beans are ejected from the Breville Barista Express grinder. The device itself feels like it is made from quality materials and is definitely well designed !The grinder, after using the bellows, is left reasonably clean without any large residual beans.I am completely satisfied with it and do recommend the device.

The plastic parts are 3d printed, not perfefct but in this application I decided it is fine. Just saw they have an aluminum version available so I'd get that. The device works well. Not zero retention but helps a lot. The main advantage is it is easier to single dose for those that want to weigh the beans first. The biggest problem I have with it is that the bellows, which they claim is made of silicone developed a shiny, sticky residue all over its surface.Update: Contacted the seller on etsy and they are sending a new bellows. Absolutely great customer service!

I am very surprised on how well this item work. Worth every penny!

As a 3D print-head myself, this is very high quality and well printed. However, FDM prints are porous and are not food safe. This is not an issue so much for this product until it comes time for cleaning and handling where bacteria can become an issue.

Having very low retention with this single dose hopper solution (especially with RDT). It is on the more expensive side for what is essentially a 3d-printed product. However, it feels super nice and premium. Everything fits very well together, the anti-popcorning weight is nice and heavy and does what it’s supposed to. And for a smaller business, I do think the price is justified/fair. Highly recommend. The only downside is that the bellows do get some grounds in them over time but thats a very minor issue that I personally don’t find that big of an issue (one rinse with water and its all gone, it is a pain to dry tho if you want to use it right after rinsing).
