The first thing you notice is that it has more substance than the usual sun hat. Meaning it is a little heavier but you know it’s not going anywhere when it’s on your head. You forget it’s heavier within minutes because it blocks the sun and fits so perfectly. It feels good on! The wind doesn’t effect the structure one bit. If you want a packable hat you’ll feel good in, buy this hat! I prefer the band turned down because it blocks more sun and looks more modern.

Love this hat! Was unsure about it when it first arrived because it was very snug on me, but I’ve gotten used to it and it’s stayed on even when it’s very windy. I got this hat for my trip to Kaui and it did a great job at shielding my face. It’s become my go-to hiking / backpacking hat. It folds easily to slip into a backpack and the shape bounces right back.

This is a very well-made hat. Looks great in and a good value. It’s just a little big.

This hat is comfortable and stylish. Size can be adjusted tying the band a little tighter. Great hat for sunny Florida!

I am a woman who is 5 feet tall. The hat is beautiful and well made and can be made to fit your head by tightening the outside tie. But the brim is much to wide for me. I feel like i do about shoes. You are better off buying them when you can try them on.
