Learning curve for beginners, but glad i made the switch!
So, im a cup beginner. Under 30, never had kids. Got the small. Ive never tried cups at all, only the softdiscs. I liked the idea of not worrying about whats up there for an extended period of time because i work in a hospital and so theres not always an opportunity to change a pad or tampon, which, im an anxious person so when that 8 hour mark hits i start to sweat a lil bit and think "oh no, TSS". Soft discs are pretty hit or miss, where id still leak so i ended up still wearing pads. I talked to my girls group chat, and one gave the cup high praise. I am freaked out by the stem design of most cups, and so this was like "oh hey, ring. That's convenient." It went in pretty easily. I found a fold that worked right away. Ngl, i shoulda used a little bit of lube though to help initially, but oh well. I left it in and went about my day-zero leaks, so whoo! Didnt feel it at all either.Taking it out....was weird at first. I FELT that suction power. So that was an "oops! Imma rip my cervix off if i pull on the ring rn" so i ended up really getting to know myself while i learned how to break the suction. Second time was a lil easier. 3rd time i ended up taking it out in the shower---WAY easier. And once i got the hang of that, the ring is nice to help guide it out. Blood dumping is a lil gross. Washing it is gross. But honestly, so was wrapping up soaked pads and tampons. Now i dont have that stuff sitting in my trash and im reducing carbon footprints along the way. I dont think ill ever use a tampon again. Also, the fact that there isnt staining since its all black, yeah. I appreciate that. So, ill mention too, this one is a lil stiff. Like, its durable. So if you want something softer, this might not be for you. I guess idk what other cups feel like. But this seems sturdy and i feel like it pops open easily when up there. I dont have to maneuver it too much to get it to open up and suction. It is a LITTLE hard to keep it folded while first getting it in. But again, for me, it just felt like a learning curve.I like that this company is female owned. That's always gonna be a positive, because women know women. I like the site. They say on the site that everyone who menstrates should have a cup. Theyre so inclusive and i appreciate that out of a company. In case that matters to anyone too.

Worked the best out of many
I tested this cup with many others. Looking for a soft enough cup that doesn’t “snap my inner walls” causing pain yet doesn’t leak or fall out.I am a mother of 2, and I do not have the vaginal looseness that many women complain of after birth. I do have a digestive disease, which plays a factor in my comfort with the cup.I’ve tested this for multiple cycles against other cups. This one was the best for me. I do like the loop on the bottom, despite that they say it’s not to be used to pull on it. It’s soft, and when it opens inside, it doesn’t snap me. It doesn’t fall out when I have to go number 2 and it hasn’t even tried to fall out. As well as no leaks. This is the best you can ask for in a cup.

Works great but loop is breaking off
I have tried other cups and I cannot remove them, so the loop is critical for me. After pretty consistent use for a little over a year, I just noticed that the loop is beginning to break/the silicone is tearing around where it connects to the cup itself. Without the loop I don’t know how easily I will be able to remove it so I am discontinuing use now and looking for a replacement. I otherwise quite liked this one but I either need something more durable, or less pricey if I am going to have to replace it so soon.

NO waste... like absolutely none.
Definitely do your research on reusable products before buying (use, what to expect, cleaning, etc.), period nirvana (website) is an amazing resource!!I love this product. It works, it works well, and does exactly what a menstrual cup should do. What shocked me the most though is that there was *no waste* and how clean it was!! I expected some waste and a LOT of mess, but there's none!!! I have significantly less items in my bathroom, I don't use that garbage can at all anymore, I use significantly less toilet paper... it's insane. I definitely love that for travel considering it'll save space in luggage and budget!! Period nirvana has tons of tips including how to change it while your out and about if you have that heavy of a flow, but ive never needed to change it more than every 12 hours... and im typically home at some point in that time period. I will definitely be getting a couple more to keep in my various kits and emergency stashes.
