One of my two cats kept scratching the corner wall area going up our stairway at the landing area. He was causing some pretty bad damage. I measured the area and started hunting through Amazon for something that was one piece, but would attach to both wall sides and would fit the space. It also had to look nice. I am so happy I found this. It fits the area really well, it was easy to install, quality is very good, price was reasonable, it looks fine on the cornered wall, and no more scratches! The wall scratcher cat likes it, too. Problem solved.

There is a corner that my cats decided was a great place to stretch and scratch on. I don't want them scratching the corner, so we bought this and placed it on the corner. I am so glad this exists. My corner is safe, and the cats are appeased. What else could I ask for?

I only got the scratch board part - no screws or tubes as listed in the product description. I had to use my own screws. Other than not giving me everything promised, I found some screws that would work and put it up in the cats' favorite scratching spot. The one that is more into scratching loves it and so far it is holding well. Neither of my cats are small so they have some force when they use it. One is not that interested in it, but she scratches way less.I put adhesion at a 1 since the screws did not come with it. I put sturdiness and durability at a 5 because even the big scratcher of the house using it for over a week hasn't even destroyed the softer faux fur trimming yet. Only concern I have is the heavy plastic tabs used to screw it onto the wall but they are holding well for the start. My cats just turned one in April, we will see if it can last their lifetime.

We actually drilled this into our one couch. Super easy install and it’s definitely saving our couch upholstery!

PROS: I spent a decent amount of time looking at corner scratching posts and settled on this one. It's not the best out there but it gets the job done. I attached it into the door frame and side wall where my cat loves to jump/stand up and scratch the wood (pictured); it took a few minutes for him to get used to it and had no problems with the change. He loves it, actually, which is a nice surprise. The soft fabric acts as a buffer if he misses the scratch pad. Screwing into the wall and door frame means it's not going anywhere so he's started jumping ON it and hanging on - he's added it to his play routine. It helps keep his nails reasonable and I get to save that poor piece of wood from getting any worse.CONS: My order and package did not come with installation instructions nor is this buying page particularly helpful. I also did not receive the sticky/velcro pads. What *was* in the packaging were the screws. After some trial and error, I poked the metal screws through the tiny hole in the plastic tabs that stick out from the pad and then screwed them into the wall and frame. The type of metal used for the screws is a little cheap, I stripped the head on one screw (pictured) and I wasn't even using a power drill. The soft fabric around the scratch pad DOES SHED. If your cat snags it, small fluffs will come off of it. This isn't an issue for me personally but I know it might be for others.OVERALL: It works for us, in this space, at this time. I wouldn't buy another one or buy from this brand again, but it gets the job done and my cat enjoys it.

I'm so glad I bought this! First I put it up on the corner wall like the pic shows, which was incredibly easy to do and my guy loved stretching up to get his scratches is. Then when I got my brand new expensive couch he decides too be a cat who scratches furniture lol so I put it flat on the floor right where he was scratching the couch, told him no, scratched the thing with my nails & he was like oh okay and scratched that instead so can possibly be a great deterrent...It's great quality, stays really clean & is easily cleanable. I will actually be purchasing more soon. Oh & you can even attach it to furniture itself! I believe it even came with a little screw driver but please don't quote me on that, not too many pieces & again very easy to install and uninstall / move around! Also a good cover up if you've got a scratched up wall corner from say someone hitting their luggage against it in the dark 👀

We have 2 cats and understand that if cats don't have an outlet for their energy then they will destroy things. We figured that out when they would literally try to climb up the walls as kittens. We have some cat trees and shelves on the wall but it still didn't quench their thirst to scratch up one particular doorway corner. I tried a few other scratching toys but they weren't interesting enough I guess. When I found this I knew we had to try it. Initially I purchased 1 and it lasted almost 2 years being used multiple times a day by 2 cats, they love this thing! And we loved that they stopped scratching up the walls and other things. So when it was time to replace I got the 2 pack. One of the best investments for our cats. We do use the screws to mount it to the wall just to be sure it's really on there.

Seemed great in theory but usless unless you are screwing it into a wall or drilling into your couch this wont stay upright. It falls on your cat the second they touch it. If the middle wasn't soft fabric an it stood on its own it would be more functional because some double sided tape would do the trick

We have two 16 years old cats and have used these type of scratchers for pretty well their whole lives. Having one on each floor of the house means the cats can use the scratchers anytime and leave the furniture alone. Rubbing / spraying the scratchers with catnip really helps.

My cats caught on to this right away. They don’t scratch the furniture very much now. Holding up very well. Would buy again in a heartbeat.
