Dock Auger

Awesome auger
I make my own bot anchor auger poles and until finding these high strength plastic auger I have used galvanized which are good as well just heavier and pose a hazard to your boat if not handled with care when storing or extracting. The plastic auger is much lighter and safer when bumped against your gel coat or glass deck, hull, etc. I install these using a 2" sch 40 PVC pipe and you will need to file the insert portion of the auger to fit the ID of the pipe but using a bench grinder it was fairly easy to achieve.

They worked very good.
I used this auger to make pole anchors for my pontoon boat. I used them in conjunction with schedule 80 - 1 1/2" pvc. They worked very good.

Fit,
The construction seems fine, but i cant find a tight enough PVC to use it,1.5" same OD, and2" ID is too lose, sced 80 2" is a little better, but still not snug, what size pipe is it suppose to fit into?
